Claims (21)
- 圧力チャンバと、前記圧力チャンバ内のインクが吐出される出口を含むノズルと、前記ノズル周囲に位置し、前記出口と同じ向きに開口され、前記出口が前記開口内部に延びているトレンチとを含む流路プレートと、
前記圧力チャンバ内のインクに、吐出のための圧力変化を提供する圧電アクチュエータと、
前記ノズル内のインクに静電駆動力を提供する静電アクチュエータと、を含むプリンティング装置。 - 前記ノズルは、前記出口に向かって断面積が縮小するテーパ部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプリンティング装置。
- 前記ノズルと前記流路プレートとの境界を形成するノズル壁が、前記トレンチ内部に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のプリンティング装置。
- 前記ノズルは、多角錐状であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項の3うち、いずれか1項に記載のプリンティング装置。
- 前記ノズル壁は、SiO2、SiN、Si、Ti、Pt、Niのうち一つ以上の物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項3または請求項4に記載のプリンティング装置。
- 前記流路プレートは、インク流路が形成される流路形成基板と、前記ノズルと前記トレンチとが形成され、前記流路形成基板と接合されるノズル基板と、を含み、
前記ノズル基板は、単結晶シリコン基板であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のうち、いずれか1項に記載のプリンティング装置。 - 前記ノズル壁は、SiO2からなることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のプリンティング装置。
- 前記SiO2は、前記ノズル基板を酸化させて形成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のプリンティング装置。
- 前記ノズルの出口の外径をNOD、前記トレンチの深さをTDとするならば、

- 前記ノズルは、前記テーパ部から直線的に延びた延長部を含み、
