Claims (18)
- モニタ空間(101)内に粒子が存在するか否かを検出するように構成されたビーム検出器(100)であって、
少なくとも第1および第2の波長域に複数の成分(4506,4504)を含む少なくとも1つの光線を生成するように構成された光源(4500)と、
光源(4500)に関連して配置された受信器(4508)であって、光源(4500)からの少なくとも1つのビーム(4502)がモニタ空間(101)を通過した後に受信器により受光されるように配置された受信器(4508)とを備え、
受信器は、粒子がビーム(4502)に衝突するか否か、受光された第1および第2の波長域の光の相対的変化に少なくとも部分的に基づいて判断するように構成され、
少なくとも第1および第2の波長域の成分(4506,4504)は、受信器(4508)に対する光源(4500)の位置ずれに起因して生じる受光強度の相対的変化と、粒子がモニタ空間で少なくとも1つのビームに衝突したことに起因して生じる受光強度の相対的変化とが区別できるように構成されることを特徴とするビーム検出器。 - 光源(4500)は、光源により生成された少なくとも1つの光線が、少なくとも第1および第2の波長域における複数の成分(4506,4504)に関し、異なる空間的強度プロファイルを有するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 第1の波長域における成分(4506)の空間的強度プロファイルと、第2の波長域における成分(4504)の空間的強度プロファイルとが異なるために、光源(4500)が受信器(4508)に対する位置ずれが大きくなるにつれて、第2の波長域における成分(4504)より前に、第1の波長域における成分(4506)の位置ずれが生じることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のビーム検出器。
- 第1の波長域における成分(4506)のビーム幅は、第2の波長域における成分(4504)のビーム幅より狭いことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 第1の波長域における成分の波長は、第2の波長域における成分の波長より長いことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 第1の波長域は、電磁スペクトルの赤外または赤色領域を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 第2の波長域は、電磁スペクトルの青色、紫色、または紫外領域を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 光源(4500)は、複数の発光素子(4748,4750)を有し、各発光素子が第1および第2の波長域の一方における波長域の光を生成するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 複数の発光素子(4748,4750)は、第1または第2の波長域のいずれか一方の波長域に対応する発光素子と、その周囲を包囲するように配置された他方の波長域に対応する1つまたはそれ以上の発光素子とを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のビーム検出器。
- 複数の発光素子(4958,4960)は、半導体ダイであることを特徴とする請求項8または9に記載のビーム検出器。
- 光源(4500)は、共通の発光ダイオード(LED)パッケージ(4740,4955)内に複数の半導体ダイ(4748,4750,4958,4960)を有することを特徴とする請求項8〜10のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 複数の半導体ダイ(4958,4960)が格子模様に配置されたことを特徴とする請求項10または11に記載のビーム検出器。
- 1つの赤外LEDダイ(4960)と、その周囲を包囲するように配置された4つの紫外LEDダイ(4958)とを有することを特徴とする請求項9〜11のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 光源(4500)は、少なくとも1つの発光素子から生成された光をモニタするために配設された光検知素子(4752,4952)を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 光検知素子(4752,4952)はフォトダイオードであり、
光源は複数の発光素子(4748,4750,4958,4960)を有し、
発光素子(4748,4750,4958,4960)およびフォトダイオード(4752,4952)は、共通の発光ダイオードパッケージ(4740,4955)内に集積れることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のビーム検出器。 - 複数の光源(406A,406B,・・・406H)のそれぞれからの少なくとも1つのビームがモニタ空間(404A)を横断した後に、受信器(404A)で受光されるように、複数の光源(406A,406B,・・・406H)が受信器(404A)に対して配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜15のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- 受信器は、視野内の複数のポイント(202)における光強度を記録し、送信できるカメラまたはその他の光センサアレイ(200)を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜16のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
- ビーム検出器(100)は煙を検知するように構成され、
モニタ空間(101)は部屋であることを特徴とする請求項1〜17のいずれか1に記載のビーム検出器。
