Abstract
Description
a)ガス不透過性材料から成る継手をガス透過性の焼結合金パイプの開放端部に結合する工程と、
b)前記焼結合金パイプの外周面を完全に被覆するパラジウム含有隔膜又はパラジウム製隔膜を前記燒結金属パイプに被着する工程とを備えている。
Claims (12)
- 焼結合金製の多孔質パイプと、該焼結合金製パイプの外側を覆うパラジウム含有隔膜又はパラジウム製隔膜とを備え、水素を含有する気体混合物から水素を浸透分離するための隔膜パイプにおいて、
前記焼結合金パイプが、少なくともその一端部に、該焼結合金パイプと固定結合されたガス不透過性材料から成る継手を有することを特徴とする隔膜パイプ。 - 前記継手が、金属、又はセラミックス、又は金属とセラミックスとの複合材料から成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の隔膜パイプ。
- 前記パラジウム隔膜が、前記焼結合金パイプの継手側の端部を越えて張り出しており、前記継手とガスを透過させない態様で結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の隔膜パイプ。
- 前記焼結合金パイプとパラジウム隔膜との間に配置されて拡散遮断層として作用するセラミックス層を更に有し、該セラミックス層がイットリウムによって部分安定化された酸化ジルコニウム、又は純粋の酸化ジルコニウム、又は酸化チタニウム、又は酸化アルミニウムから成ることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の隔膜パイプ。
- 前記継手と焼結合金パイプとの間の結合面が隔膜パイプの軸心に関して対称に配置されていると共に円筒面又は円錐台面の形状を有し、該円錐台面の場合は前記結合面が前記継手の方向もしくは前記焼結合金パイプの方向に向かって拡径状に開いた形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の隔膜パイプ。
- 水素を含有する気体混合物から水素を浸透分離するための隔膜パイプを製造する方法であって、
a)ガス不透過性材料から成る継手をガス透過性の焼結金属パイプの開放端部に結合する工程、及び
b)前記焼結合金パイプの外周面を完全に被覆するパラジウム含有隔膜又はパラジウム製隔膜を前記燒結金属パイプに被着する工程
を備えたことを特徴とする隔膜パイプの製造方法。 - 前記継手を前記焼結合金パイプと焼結、ろう付け、又は摩擦溶接によって結合することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記焼結合金パイプを、直接継手内又は継手上に結合する前に、圧延もしくは鍛造加工することを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記焼結合金パイプを、継手に結合する前に、圧延もしくは鍛造加工によって所定の寸法に整えることを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記焼結合金パイプの外周面に先ず拡散遮断層を被着し、次いで該拡散遮断層を完全に覆うようにパラジウム隔膜を被着することを特徴とする請求項6〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- パラジウム隔膜を、ガスを通さない態様で継手と結合することを特徴とする請求項6〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項6〜11の少なくとも1項に記載の方法によって製造された隔膜パイプを有する水素製造用の反応器であって、該隔膜パイプの一端部がガスを通さない態様で継手を介して反応器と固定結合されていることを特徴とする反応器。
