Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 2ストローク内燃エンジン用の非対称な排気ポート/移送ポート反転装置であって、
中空のフラップ弁を有し、前記フラップ弁は、閉位置と開位置との間を中空の回動シャフトを中心に回動するように構成され、
ピストンが圧縮行程を開始するときに前記反転装置を開位置に回動させることにより、前記ピストンの前縁部が排気ポートを閉鎖した後、空気の移送を継続させることを可能にし、それにより、前記排気ポートの閉鎖タイミングを早め、且つ、クランクケースの主圧縮室から空気を移送する持続時間を延長させる、反転装置。 - 請求項1に記載の反転装置を有する2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記空気は、代替供給源から直接供給される、請求項2に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記代替供給源は、圧縮機による供給源であり、前記圧縮機は、電気的に動力が供給され、又は、前記2ストローク内燃エンジンから機械的に動力が供給される、請求項3に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記2ストローク内燃エンジンは、燃焼室内の回動点を中心にクランクケース内で揺動する回動ピストンを有し、前記回動ピストンは、前記回動点から離れた方の端部に隣接したところでコネクティングロッドに連結され、前記コネクティングロッドは、クランクシャフトを駆動する、請求項2に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記空気は、代替供給源から直接供給される、請求項5に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記代替供給源は、圧縮機による供給源であり、前記圧縮機は、電気的に動力が供給され、又は、前記2ストローク内燃エンジンから機械的に動力が供給される、請求項6に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記回動ピストンは、前記燃焼室の壁をシールする第1の弧状のシール面と、前記回動ピストンのフロア部を介して前記第1の弧状のシール面に連結された第2のシール面と、を有し、前記第1の弧状のシール面及び前記第2のシール面は両方とも、前記回動ピストンの回動点から実質的に一定の半径方向寸法を有し、前記第1の弧状のシール面は、その壁の一部分が前記燃焼室の壁と一緒にガスシールを形成するスカートを有する、請求項5に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 各前記回動ピストンは、更に、液体冷却剤が前記回動シャフトの中及び前記回動ピストンの液体冷却通路の中を通って前記回動シャフトから出ることを可能にする装置を有する、請求項5に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記燃焼室の側壁内のダクトにより、前記クランクケースと前記反転装置の回動シャフトとの間の連通を可能にする、請求項2又は5に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 空気の供給源との連通が、前記反転装置における回動シャフトの反対側でのポート動作によって達成される、請求項2又は5に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記反転装置は、クランクシャフトの回転の制限された角度で開閉するように、カム機構、電磁気制御、又は空気圧制御によって作動される、請求項2又は5に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記反転装置は、可変タイミング制御を可能にするように調節可能且つ作動可能である、請求項12に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記反転装置は、前記ピストンが圧縮行程を開始して前記ピストンの前縁部が前記排気ポートを閉鎖した後、空気を移送し続けることが可能である、請求項2又は5に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
- 前記反転装置は、前記排気ポートを有効に閉鎖した後、前記燃焼室を加圧し続け、前記2ストローク内燃エンジンを高圧又は高負荷で作動させることを可能にする、請求項14に記載の2ストローク内燃エンジン。
