Claims (15)

- (A+B)/Cが0.40〜3.00の範囲にある、請求項1または請求項2に記載の触媒ユニット。
- 孔が円形の断面で、独立して、0.05D〜0.5Dの範囲の直径d’を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット。
- ユニットの外表面が、その長さ方向に延びている1本以上の溝を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット。
- 溝の数が孔の数と等しい、請求項5に記載の触媒ユニット。
- 総溝幅が、ユニットの周囲の35%以下である、請求項5または請求項6に記載の触媒ユニット。
- 一方又は両方のドーム状の端部が、円筒部分の一方又は両方の端部上にへりを提供するように配置されている、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット。
- 金属酸化物、金属水酸化物、金属炭酸塩、金属水酸化炭酸塩、または、それらの混合物から選ばれる金属または金属化合物を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット。
- ユニットに含浸させた、及び/又は、表面に堆積させた1種以上の金属化合物を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の触媒ユニット。
- (i)粉末材料を、必要に応じてペレット化助剤と共に、ペレット成型機に供給し、(ii)該粉末を圧縮し、成型ユニットを形成し、次に、(iii)必要に応じて、該成型ユニットを加熱し、該触媒ユニットを形成する工程を含み、ここで、該成型機は、該触媒ユニットが3〜10個の孔が貫通した、長さC及び直径Dの円筒であり、該円筒が、長さA及びBであるドーム状の端部を有し、(A+B+C)/Dが0.50〜2.00の範囲にあり、(A+B)/Cが0.40〜5.00の範囲にあるように成型されている、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニットを製作する方法。
- 粉末材料が、乾燥され、必要に応じて焼成され、及び/又は、還元/不動態化された1種以上の触媒金属を含む沈殿組成物である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 粉末材料が触媒担体材料である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 得られたユニットを、1種以上の金属化合物を含浸あるいは堆積させることにより処理する工程を更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 反応剤混合物を、触媒反応を起こす条件で触媒と接触させることを含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット、または、請求項11〜14のいずれか一項に従って調製された触媒ユニットを用いた触媒方法。
