Abstract
Description
本出願は、2007年12月19日出願の米国仮特許出願第61/014,826号の利益を主張する。同出願の全体を、参照により本明細書に組み込む。

・より厚い基板は温度の影響を受けにくいので、セルが印刷機上でより良好に処理される。

Claims (20)
- 電流を生成する少なくとも1つの電気化学セルを含む電池を製造する方法であって、
第1の側を含む第1の基板、および第2の基板を提供するステップと、
前記第1の基板の前記第1の側に複数のカソード層を提供するステップと、
前記カソード・コレクタ層上に誘電体層を提供するステップと、
その少なくとも一部分が前記複数のカソード層のうちの隣接する2つのカソード層間に位置するアノード層を前記誘電体層上に提供するステップと、
前記カソード層に接触し、かつ前記アノード層にも接触する粘性液を含む電解質層を提供するステップと、
前記第1の基板の前記第1の側に中間スペーサ層としてフレームを提供して、前記電解質を収容する内側空間を形成し、かつ前記内側空間内に前記カソード層の少なくとも主要な部分および前記アノード層の少なくとも主要な部分も収容するステップと、
前記中間スペーサ層を介して前記第2の基板を前記第1の基板に接続し、前記カソード層、前記アノード層、および前記電解質層を収容する前記内側空間を実質上封止するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記第1の基板および前記第2の基板のうちの少なくとも一方が、複数の層を有するウェブを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記誘電体層が、前記カソード・コレクタ層上で、前記複数のカソード層のうちの少なくとも隣接する2つのカソード層間に設けられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記誘電体層が、前記2つの隣接するカソード層から等距離に位置する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記カソード層が、ヒドロキシエチルセルロースを含む結合剤を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フレームを、複数の積層を有するウェブを含む第3の基板として提供するステップをさらに含み、前記積層の少なくとも1つが感圧接着剤である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記カソード・コレクタ層が、正方形の数が概して3以下になるような長さおよび幅を有する幾何形状を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 前記第1の基板上に配置され、前記内側空間の周囲の境界を概して示すフレーム封止剤を提供するステップをさらに含み、前記フレーム封止剤が前記第1の基板と前記フレームの間に介在する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (1)前記複数のカソード層と前記第1の基板の間のカソード・コレクタ層、および(2)前記アノード層と前記第1の基板の間のアノード・コレクタ層の一方または両方を提供するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電流を生成する少なくとも1つの電気化学セルを含む電池を製造する方法であって、
第1の側を含む第1の基板、および第2の基板を提供するステップであって、前記第1の基板および前記第2の基板のうちの少なくとも一方が、複数の層を有するウェブを含むステップと、
前記第1の基板の前記第1の側にカソード・コレクタ層を印刷するステップと、
前記カソード・コレクタ層上に誘電体層を提供するステップと、
前記カソード・コレクタ層上に複数のカソード層を印刷するステップと、
前記誘電体層上にアノード層を積層するステップと、
前記複数のカソード層に接触し、かつ前記アノード層にも接触する粘性液を含む電解質層を提供するステップと、
前記第1の基板の前記第1の側にフレームを提供して、前記電解質を収容する内側空間を形成し、かつ前記内側空間内に前記複数のカソード層の少なくとも主要な部分および前記アノード層の少なくとも主要な部分も収容するステップと、
スペーサとして利用される第3のウェブを介して前記第2の基板を前記第1の基板に接続し、前記複数のカソード層、前記アノード層、および前記電解質層を収容する前記内側空間を実質上封止するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記誘電体層が、前記カソード・コレクタ層上で、前記複数のカソード層のうちの少なくとも隣接する2つのカソード層間に設けられる、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記誘電体層が、前記2つの隣接するカソード層から等距離に位置する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記カソード・コレクタ層が、正方形の数が概して3以下になるような長さおよび幅を有する幾何形状を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記第3のウェブを、複数の積層を含む第3の基板として提供するステップをさらに含み、前記積層の少なくとも1つが感圧接着剤である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 電流を生成する少なくとも1つの電気化学セルを含む電池であって、
複数の積層を含み、かつ第1の側および第2の側を画定する第1の基板と、
第2の基板と、
前記第1の基板の前記第1の側に設けられるカソード・コレクタ層と、
前記カソード・コレクタ層上に設けられる複数のカソード層と、
前記カソード・コレクタ層上で、前記複数のカソード層のうちの少なくとも隣接する2つのカソード層間に設けられる誘電体層と、
前記誘電体層上に設けられ、前記誘電体層およびアノード・アセンブリ接着剤によって前記カソード・コレクタ層から絶縁されるアノード層と、
前記複数のカソード層に接触し、かつ前記アノード層にも接触する粘性液を含む電解質層と、
前記第1の基板および前記第2の基板間に介在して、前記第1の基板を前記第2の基板に接続して封止し、前記電解質を収容する内側空間を形成し、また前記内側空間内に前記複数のカソード層の少なくとも主要な部分および前記アノード層の少なくとも主要な部分を収容するフレームとを含み、前記アノード層および前記複数のカソード層のうちの少なくとも一方が、硬化または乾燥させたインクを含む、電池。 - 前記誘電体層が、前記2つの隣接するカソード層から等距離に位置する、請求項16に記載の電池。
- 前記アノード層が、前記2つの隣接するカソード層から等距離に位置する、請求項17に記載の電池。
- 前記カソード・コレクタ層が、正方形の数が概して3以下になるような長さおよび幅を有する幾何形状を含む、請求項16に記載の電池。
- 前記複数のカソード層および前記アノード層のうちの一方だけが、乾燥または硬化させたインクから構成され、前記複数のカソード層および前記アノード層のうちの他方が、材料のストリップから構成される、請求項16に記載の電池。
