【解決手段】透光性基板1上に設けられる透光性電極層2を含む1対の電極層と、該1対の電極層に挟持され、有機エレクトロスミネッセンス物質を含有する有機層とを有し、透光性電極層2上にその一部に接触して設けられる遮光性の補助電極5と、該補助電極5を被覆して補助電極と有機層間の導通を抑制する層間絶縁被膜6と、透光性電極層2の端部を被覆して1対の電極層間の導通を抑制する端部絶縁被膜7とを有する有機エレクトロルミネッセンス照明装置の製造方法であって、補助電極5の形成後、層間絶縁被膜6と端部絶縁被膜7とを一工程のフォトリソグラフィーで形成する。

Claims (4)
- 透光性基板上に設けられる透光性電極層を含む1対の電極層と、該1対の電極層に挟持され、有機エレクトロスミネッセンス物質を含有する有機層とを有し、透光性電極層上にその一部に接触して設けられる遮光性の補助電極と、該補助電極を被覆して補助電極と有機層間の導通を抑制する層間絶縁被膜と、透光性電極層の端部を被覆して1対の電極層間の導通を抑制する端部絶縁被膜とを有する有機エレクトロルミネッセンス照明装置の製造方法であって、補助電極の形成後、層間絶縁被膜と端部絶縁被膜とを一工程のフォトリソグラフィーで形成することを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセンス照明装置の製造方法。
- 補助電極を透光性電極層の端部を被覆して形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス照明装置の製造方法。
- 前記一工程のフォトリソグラフィーにおいて、透光性基板側から露光を照射し、セルフアラインメントすることを特徴とする請求項2記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス照明装置の製造方法。
- 端部絶縁被膜を、隣接する層間絶縁被膜と接触して形成することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス照明装置の製造方法。
