Abstract
【解決手段】目封止ハニカム構造体の一方の端面側において、セラミック粒子と気体を混合し、目封止ハニカム構造体の他方の端面側から、セラミック粒子が混合された気体を吸引することによって、その気体に混合されたセラミック粒子を、目封止ハニカム構造体のセル内へ送り込み、そのセラミック粒子を、目封止ハニカム構造体のセル内の表面に付着させる過程を有する目封止ハニカム構造体の製造方法の提供による。

Claims (2)
- 目封止ハニカム構造体の一方の端面側において、セラミック粒子と気体を混合し、
前記目封止ハニカム構造体の他方の端面側から、前記セラミック粒子が混合された気体を吸引することによって、
その気体に混合されたセラミック粒子を、前記目封止ハニカム構造体のセル内へ送り込み、
そのセラミック粒子を、前記目封止ハニカム構造体のセル内の表面に付着させる過程を有する目封止ハニカム構造体の製造方法。 - 前記セラミック粒子が混合された気体において、セラミック粒子の質量/気体の体積が、1g/m3以上、1600g/m3以下であり、
セル内における前記セラミック粒子が混合された気体の流速が、0.2m/sec.以上、100m/sec.以下である請求項1に記載の目封止ハニカム構造体の製造方法。
