Claims (1)
- 目封止ハニカム構造体の一方の端面側において、セラミック粒子と気体を混合し、
前記目封止ハニカム構造体の他方の端面側から、前記セラミック粒子が混合された気体を吸引することによって、
その気体に混合されたセラミック粒子を、前記目封止ハニカム構造体のセル内へ送り込み、
そのセラミック粒子を、前記目封止ハニカム構造体のセル内の表面に付着させる過程を有し、
前記セラミック粒子の平均粒子径が、1〜15μmであり、
前記セラミック粒子平均粒子径/基材平均細孔径が、0.02より大きく、1.5より小さく、
前記セラミック粒子の材料が、炭化珪素、窒化珪素、コージェライト化原料、アルミナ、ジルコニア、シリカの何れかであり、
前記セラミック粒子が混合された気体において、セラミック粒子の質量/気体の体積が、1g/m3以上、1600g/m3以下であり、
セル内における前記セラミック粒子が混合された気体の流速が、0.2m/sec.以上、100m/sec.以下である目封止ハニカム構造体の製造方法。
