Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の方法においては、複数の金属酸化物含有成形体(11)を、湿分の通過を遅らせるフィルム(12)に包み、ここでこの金属酸化物含有成形体は、大気平衡で含有する水の量よりも少ない量の水を含有している。このフィルム(12)を破り、金属酸化物含有成形体(11)を大気圧の空気不透過性容器(14)内に配置する。空気不透過性容器(14)内の圧力を低下させ、この空気不透過性容器(14)を密封して、真空断熱パネル(16)を作る。また、空気不透過性容器(14)内に配置された複数の金属酸化物含有成形体(11)を含む真空断熱パネル(16)も提供される。ここで、この金属酸化物含有成形体(11)は、大気平衡のときに含有する水の量よりも少ない量の水を含む。

Claims (27)
- (a)湿分の通過を遅らせるフィルムにそれぞれ包まれた複数の金属酸化物含有成形体を提供すること、ここで前記金属酸化物含有成形体は、大気と平衡のときに含有する水の量よりも少ない量の水を含有しており、
(b)前記フィルムを破ること、及び前記金属酸化物含有成形体を大気圧の空気不透過性容器内に配置すること、
(c)前記空気不透過性容器内の圧力を低下させること、及び
(d)前記空気不透過性容器を密封して、真空断熱パネルを作ること、
を含む、真空断熱パネルの製造方法。 - 前記金属酸化物含有成形体を前記空気不透過性容器内に配置する前に、前記フィルムを破る、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルムを破る前に、前記金属酸化物含有成形体を前記空気不透過性容器内に配置する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記空気不透過性容器を密封する前に、前記フィルムを、前記金属酸化物含有成形体から除去する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記金属酸化物がシリカである、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記金属酸化物含有成形体がフュームドシリカを含有する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記金属酸化物含有成形体がシリカゲルを含有する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記金属酸化物含有成形体がシリカエアロゲルを含有する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記金属酸化物含有成形体が沈降シリカを含有する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記金属酸化物含有成形体が不透明化剤を含有する、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記フィルムが、ポリオレフィン、ポリビニルクロリド、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される材料を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記容器が、ポリオレフィン、ポリビニルクロリド、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される材料を含む、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記容器が金属化されている、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記成形体が、高さが約1mm〜約100mm、幅が約1mm〜約1,000mm、長さが約1mm〜約500mmの成形体である、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 複数の前記金属酸化物含有成形体が実質的に同じ寸法である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 22℃での前記容器の圧力を、工程(c)において、大気圧の約80%又はそれ未満まで低下させる、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 22℃での前記容器の圧力を、工程(c)において、約80kPa又はそれ未満まで低下させる、請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 22℃での前記容器の圧力を、工程(c)において、約10kPa又はそれ未満まで低下させる、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 22℃での前記容器の圧力を、工程(c)において、約4kPa又はそれ未満まで低下させる、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(a)が、
(i)金属酸化物含有組成物を提供すること、
(ii)前記金属酸化物含有組成物を圧縮して、前記金属酸化物含有成形体を作ること、
(iii)前記金属酸化物含有成形体中の水の量を減少させること、及び
(iv)前記成形体を前記フィルムで包むこと、
を含む、請求項1〜19のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 空気不透過性容器とこの空気不透過性容器内に配置された複数の金属酸化物含有成形体とを含む真空断熱パネルであって、前記金属酸化物含有成形体が、大気と平衡のときに含有する水の量よりも少ない量の水を含有する、真空断熱パネル。
- 前記金属酸化物含有成形体が、破れた湿分の通過を遅らせるフィルムで包まれている、請求項21に記載の真空断熱パネル。
- 前記容器が、ポリオレフィン、ポリビニルクロリド、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される材料を含む、請求項21又は22に記載の真空断熱パネル。
- 前記容器が金属化されている、請求項21〜23のいずれかに記載の真空断熱パネル。
- 前記成形体が、高さが約1mm〜約100mm、幅が約1mm〜約1,000mm、長さが約1mm〜約500mmの成形体である、請求項21〜24のいずれかに記載の真空断熱パネル。
- 前記金属酸化物がシリカである、請求項21〜25のいずれかに記載の真空断熱パネル。
- 22℃での前記容器内の圧力が約80kPa又はそれ未満である、請求項21〜26のいずれかに記載の真空断熱パネル。
