Abstract
【解決手段】光情報記録媒体200は、再生光の入射側から順に、透光層10、第1情報記録層20、中間層30、第2情報記録層40及び基板50が積層された構造となっており、第1情報記録層20が情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層であり、第2情報記録層40が情報を書き換えることが可能な領域を含む層である。そして、第1情報記録層20は、透光性を有し、第1情報記録層20の再生光波長における反射率の値は、0.4%より大きく2.2%以下である。

Description
本発明の実施の形態1について図1〜図12に基づいて説明すると以下の通りである。
図1に示す本実施の形態1に係る光情報記録媒体200を実施例1とし作製し、この実施例1の比較例1として、図3に示す光情報記録媒体202を作製した。以下に、各々の構造を図1及び図3を用いて説明する。なお、図3は、実施例1として作製された光情報記録媒体200の比較例1である光情報記録媒体202の概略構成を示す断面図である。
本発明の実施の形態2について図13及び図14に基づいて説明すると以下の通りである。本実施の形態2に係る光情報記録媒体300、301は、第1情報記録層70がR層である点で、ROM層である第1情報記録層20を備えた実施の形態1に係る光情報記録媒体200、201と異なる。
本発明の実施の形態3について図15に基づいて説明すると以下の通りである。本発明の実施の形態3である光情報記録媒体駆動装置としての再生システム(光情報記録媒体駆動装置)600は、図6に示す再生システム100の制御部115の代わりに、制御部615を備えた構成となっている。なお、制御部615以外の構成については、再生システム100に備えられた構成と同一の機能を有するため、その説明を省略する。

Claims (1)
- 基板上に、再生光によって情報を読み出すことが可能な複数の情報記録層と、
上記複数の情報記録層各々を分離する中間層と、
上記基板より最も遠い位置に設けられた透光層とを有し、
上記複数の情報記録層のうち、上記再生光の入射側に最も近い位置に設けられた第1情報記録層が情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層であり、
他の情報記録層のうち少なくとも一層が情報を書き換えることが可能な領域を含む書き換え層である光情報記録媒体を再生可能な光情報記録媒体駆動装置であって、
再生光の強度を変更するための強度変更手段を備えており、
上記強度変更手段は、
上記第1情報記録層の再生から上記書き換え層の再生への移行に対応して、
上記第1情報記録層を再生する第1再生光の強度から、
上記書き換え層を再生する第2再生光の強度へと変更することを特徴とする光情報記録媒体駆動装置。
