Abstract
Description
Claims (25)
- サスペンションコンポーネントを有する車両の荷重状態を示すシステムであって、
前記サスペンションコンポーネントの角度振れに関連する信号が生成され得るように単一のサスペンションコンポーネント上に設けることが可能であるトランスデューサと、
前記信号を受信して前記車両の荷重状態を表す出力を生成するように構成されたコントローラと、
を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記車両の姿勢に関連する基準信号を生成する少なくとも1つの基準デバイスをさらに含み、前記コントローラは、前記基準信号を受信して前記荷重状態を表す出力信号をして、前記車両の姿勢によって生成された前記振れ角の変化に対応するようにさらに構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1または2に記載のシステムであって、当該コントローラ出力信号が、知覚出力デバイスを動作せしめることを特徴とするシステム。
- 先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のシステムであって、ディスプレイをさらに含むことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項4記載のシステムであって、前記ディスプレイが知覚出力デバイスであることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項4または5に記載のシステムであって、前記ディスプレイ及び前記コントローラが単一のユニットを形成するように組み合わされていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項4から6のいずれかに記載のシステムであって、前記ディスプレイが前記コントローラのプログラミングに使用されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のシステムであって、前記コントローラが、前記車両が外乱にさらされているかを検知するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のシステムであって、前記トランスデューサがワンピースデバイスであることを特徴とするシステム。
- 先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のシステムであって、各々が単一のサスペンションコンポーネントに設けられることが可能である複数のトランスデューサを含むことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10記載のシステムであって、前記複数のトランスデューサの各々が異なったサスペンションコンポーネントに設けられることが可能であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10または11記載のシステムであって、前記複数のトランスデューサの各々が、異なったサスペンションアセンブリの単一のサスペンションコンポーネントに設けられることが可能であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10から12のいずれかに記載のシステムであって、トランスデューサがサスペンションアセンブリの各々の単一のサスペンションコンポーネントに設けられることが可能であることを特徴とするシステム。
- サスペンションコンポーネントを有する車輪付き車両であって、
先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のシステムを含み、トランスデューサが単一のサスペンションコンポーネントに設けられることを特徴とする車両。 - サスペンションコンポーネントを有する車両の荷重状態をモニタリングする方法であって、
前記サスペンションコンポーネントの振れ角をモニタリングするステップと、
前記荷重状態を示すコントローラからの出力信号を生成するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項15記載の方法であって、
単一のサスペンションコンポーネントに設けられた傾斜計または加速度計を使用して少なくとも1つのサスペンションコンポーネントの空荷角度を測定し、その角度を前記コントローラに保存して前記空荷角度に対応する下方閾値を設定するステップと、
単一のサスペンションコンポーネントに設けられた傾斜計または加速度計を使用して少なくとも1つのサスペンションコンポーネントの積載角度を測定し、その角度を前記コントローラに保存して前記積載角度に対応する下方閾値を設定するステップと、
前記振れ角を前記上方及び下方閾値と比較して、当該比較を前記荷重状態を判定するために使用するステップと、
前記上方または下方閾値に達した場合に前記コントローラからの出力信号を生成するステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項15または16記載の方法であって、
前記車両に設けられた基準デバイスを使用して前記車両の姿勢を測定するステップと、
前記コントローラが前記基準信号を受信し、前記サスペンションコンポーネントに関する前記空荷角度及び前記積載角度を調整して前記車両の姿勢に対応せしめるステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項15から17のいずれかに記載の方法であって、前記車両が少なくとも2つのフロントサスペンションアセンブリを有し、前記サスペンションアセンブリの各々が少なくとも1つのサスペンションコンポーネントを有し、
前記方法が、前記フロントサスペンションアセンブリのみに関連して前記荷重状態を表す前記コントローラからの出力信号を生成するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項15から18のいずれかに記載の方法であって、前記車両が少なくとも2つのリアサスペンションアセンブリを有し、前記サスペンションアセンブリの各々が少なくとも1つのサスペンションコンポーネントを含み、
前記方法が、前記リアサスペンションアセンブリのみに関連して前記荷重状態を表す前記コントローラからの出力信号を生成するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項15から19のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
前記上方閾値の値の60%と98%との間にある中間閾値を設定するステップと、
前記振れ角が前記中間閾値点に達した場合に前記コントローラが出力信号を生成するステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項15から20のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
2つの別々の時間間隔において少なくとも1つのサスペンションコンポーネントの前記振れ角をモニタリングするステップと、
前記2つの別々の時間間隔から前記振れ角の差異を判定するステップと、
前記差異が所定量よりも大きい場合に、前記コントローラが、動きが検出されたことを表す外乱信号を生成するステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項15から20のいずれかに記載の方法であって、
前記コントローラが、離散的な間隔において前記振れ角をサンプリングし、当該サンプリングされたデータを各々が複数のサンプルを含むnサンプルセット(nは整数である)として保存するステップと、
2つの連続するサンプルセット間の変化が所定値よりも大きい場合に、前記コントローラが、動きを検出したことを示す外乱信号を生成するステップと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1から13のいずれかに記載のシステムであって、前記トランスデューサが無線送信機を含み、前記コントローラは、関連する無線信号受信器を含み、前記トランスデューサ及び前記コントローラが無線チャンネルを介して通信し得ることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムであって、前記基準デバイスが無線送信機を含み、前記コントローラは、関連する無線信号受信器を含み、前記基準デバイス及び前記コントローラが無線チャンネルを介して通信し得ることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項15から22のいずれかに記載の方法であって、前記振れ角が前記コントローラに無線チャンネルを介して伝送されることを特徴とする方法。
