Claims (27)

- 基板が、長手方向軸を有し、エンボス加工されたチャネルが、軸と実質的に垂直である、請求項1に記載の血中グルコースセンサ。
- エンボス加工されたチャネルを有する電極の少なくとも一部分が、延性な材料を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の血中グルコースセンサ。
- 延性な材料が金である、請求項4に記載の血中グルコースセンサ。

基板の表面に複数のチャネルを有する基板を提供するステップと、
基板の表面に隣接して少なくとも1つの針を配置し、その針から試薬を表面上に分注するステップと、
表面を少なくとも1つのスキージと接触させるステップと、
基板と針の間、および基板とスキージの間に相対移動をもたらすステップと、を含み、
針およびスキージが協働して、複数のチャネルを試薬で実質的に満たし、表面の残り部分から概ね試薬をなくす、
方法。 - 少なくとも1つの針および少なくとも1つのスキージが固定位置に保持され、基板が針およびスキージの下を移動する、請求項17に記載の方法。

- 類似の動作特性を有する複数の検体センサを製造する方法であって、
複数の実質的に作動可能である検体センサを形成するステップであって、それぞれのセンサが、センサの縁部まで延在するチャネルを含む、該ステップと、
センサの較正パラメータを決定するように、センサのうちの少なくとも1つを試験するステップと、
試験されたセンサの較正パラメータに基づいて、試験されていないセンサの縁部から所定の量をトリミングするステップであって、それによって、センサのチャネルを短縮し、センサの較正パラメータを変更する、ステップと
を含む方法。 - 複数の実質的に作動可能なセンサを形成する前に、チャネルをエンボス加工するステップをさらに含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
