Abstract
Description
ここで、下記の例を参照しながら、本発明をより詳細に説明する。これらの例は、本発明を説明するためにのみ記載するのであり、本発明の範囲及び精神を制限するものではない。
カソード活性材料としてLiCoO295重量%、導電性材料としてSuper-P 2.5重量%、及び結合剤としてPVdF 2.5重量%を、NMP(N-メチル-2-ピロリドン)溶剤に加えた。カソード活性材料の総重量に対して0.1重量%の、表面をHMDS(ヘキサメチルジシラザン)で処理した疎水性SiO2をカソード活性材料に加え、カソード材料を調製した。その後、このカソード材料をアルミニウムホイル上に塗布し、乾燥させ、圧縮し、カソードを調製した。
疎水性SiO2をカソードに加えなかった以外は、例1と同じ様式で、リチウム二次バッテリーを調製した。
疎水性SiO2をアノードに加えなかった以外は、例1と同じ様式で、リチウム二次バッテリーを調製した。
疎水性SiO22重量%をカソード及びアノードに加えた以外は、例1と同じ様式で、リチウム二次バッテリーを調製した。
疎水性SiO25重量%をカソード及びアノードに加えた以外は、例1と同じ様式で、リチウム二次バッテリーを調製した。
疎水性SiO2をカソード及びアノードに加えなかった以外は、例1と同じ様式で、リチウム二次バッテリーを調製した。
疎水性SiO27重量%をカソード及びアノードに加えた以外は、例1と同じ様式で、リチウム二次バッテリーを調製した。
例1〜5及び比較例1〜3のそれぞれで調製した電極中の含水量を測定し、下記の表1に示す。
例1〜5及び比較例1〜3のそれぞれで調製したバッテリーを、十分に充電し、60℃で2週間貯蔵した。次いで、各バッテリーの貯蔵後の容量を測定し、下記の表1に、初期容量に対する比率で示す。
例1〜5及び比較例1〜3のそれぞれで調製したバッテリーを、4.2 Vに充電した。次いで、電流0.5 C及び5 Cでそれぞれ放電した時の各バッテリーの容量を測定し、下記の表1に、0.5 Cと5 Cの比率で示す。
Claims (10)
- 非水性リチウム二次バッテリーであって、
カソードと、アノードと、及び前記カソードと前記アノードの間に挿入されたセパレータとから構成された電極アセンブリーと、
前記カソードおよびアノードが、集電装置上に塗布された活性材料を含む電極材料を有してなり、
リチウム塩を含む非水性電解質と、
前記電極材料に包含された疎水性不活性粒子(「疎水性粒子」)と、及び
前記構成部品の全てを密封するバッテリーケースとを備えてなる、非水性リチウム二次バッテリー。 - 前記疎水性粒子が、疎水性有機粒子、疎水性無機粒子、疎水性表面被覆された無機粒子、及び疎水性表面被覆された有機粒子からなる群から選択された一種以上の粒子である、請求項1に記載のバッテリー。
- 前記疎水性表面被覆された無機粒子が、表面が疎水性有機物質で被覆された親水性無機粒子である、請求項2に記載のバッテリー。
- 前記親水性無機粒子が、SiO2、Al2O3、MgO、TiO2、ZrO2、CaO、Y2O3、及びSrOからなる群から選択された一種以上の無機酸化物粒子である、請求項3に記載のバッテリー。
- 前記親水性無機粒子がSiO2である、請求項4に記載のバッテリー。
- 前記疎水性粒子および前記疎水性有機物質が、疎水性重合体または疎水性シラン系化合物から構成される、請求項2または3に記載のバッテリー。
- 前記疎水性シラン系化合物が、HMDS、TMSCL、PDMS、及びDDSからなる群から選択された一種以上である、請求項6に記載のバッテリー。
- 前記疎水性粒子が、カソード材料中に、前記カソード材料の総重量に対して0.1〜5重量%の量で、および/またはアノード材料中に、前記アノード材料の総重量に対して0.1〜5重量%の量で含まれる、請求項1に記載のバッテリー。
- 前記疎水性粒子の粒子径が1 nm〜100μmである、請求項1に記載のバッテリー。
- 非水性リチウム二次バッテリー用の、電極活性材料、結合剤、導電性材料、及び疎水性不活性粒子を含んでなる、電極材料。
