Abstract
【解決手段】金属元素の炭化物、ほう化物、および炭ほう化物よりなる群から選択される1以上の化合物からなり、ナノインデンテーション法で測定される硬度(以下、「ナノインデンテーション硬度」という)が20GPa以上35GPa以下で、かつ膜厚が5μm以上10μm以下である中間層2と、前記中間層上に形成され、ナノインデンテーション硬度が25GPa以上35GPa以下で、かつ膜厚が0.3μm以上1.0μm以下であるダイヤモンドライクカーボン膜3とを備えていることを特徴とする積層皮膜。

前記中間層上に形成され、ナノインデンテーション硬度が25GPa以上35GPa以下で、かつ膜厚が0.3μm以上1.0μm以下であるダイヤモンドライクカーボン膜とを備えているところに特徴を有する。
中間層、DLC膜の硬度は、前記条件で基材上に中間層を約7μm形成した試料、前記条件で基材上にDLC膜を約1μm形成した試料をそれぞれ作製し、ナノインデンテーション法で測定した。測定には、超微小押し込み硬さ試験機(「ENT−1100a」、ELIONIX社製)を用い、ダイヤモンド製のBerkovich圧子を用い、測定荷重10〜100mNの範囲で負荷−除荷曲線を測定し、硬度を算出した。
摺動試験は、図1に示す通り、スラスト玉軸受け(NTN社製51104を使用)上で、前記試料(中間層2、密着性強化層(図示せず)およびDLC膜3が形成されたSKD51ディスク1)を回転させるリングオンボール試験装置を用いて実施した。ボール5を3個に減少させ、かつ荷重:950Nの条件で試験することで、面圧が4.7GPaの条件を実現した。回転数は1500rpmとした。また、無潤滑の条件で試験した。油中やグリース塗布などの潤滑環境下では、前記条件で試験時間を20時間以上としても優劣の判断が難しいため、前記無潤滑とすることで加速試験を行った。尚、図1において、4はボール保持具、6はスラスト玉軸受け用軸受けレース、7はディスク保持部、8は軸受けレース保持部、9は回転軸を示している。

Claims (9)
- 金属元素の炭化物、ほう化物、および炭ほう化物よりなる群から選択される1以上の化合物からなり、ナノインデンテーション法で測定される硬度(以下、「ナノインデンテーション硬度」という)が20GPa以上35GPa以下で、かつ膜厚が5μm以上10μm以下である中間層と、
前記中間層上に形成され、ナノインデンテーション硬度が25GPa以上35GPa以下で、かつ膜厚が0.3μm以上1.0μm以下であるダイヤモンドライクカーボン膜とを備えていることを特徴とする積層皮膜。 - 前記金属元素がNb、Ta、Ti、W、およびVよりなる群から選択される1種以上の元素である請求項1に記載の積層皮膜。
- 前記中間層は、NbC、TaC、TiBC、WBC、NbBC、およびVBCよりなる群から選択される1以上の化合物からなる請求項2に記載の積層皮膜。
- 前記中間層と前記ダイヤモンドライクカーボン膜の間に組成傾斜層が形成されており、この組成傾斜層は、金属元素と炭素を含み、中間層側からダイヤモンドライクカーボン膜側に向かって炭素が増加するとともに金属元素が減少する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の積層皮膜。
- 前記金属元素がCr、Ti、Nb、Ta、W、およびVよりなる群から選択される1種以上の元素である請求項4に記載の積層皮膜。
- 基材の表面が、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の積層皮膜で被覆された積層皮膜被覆部材。
- 2.0GPa以上の面圧で押圧される条件下で使用される請求項6に記載の積層皮膜被覆部材。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の積層皮膜が歯面に形成された歯車である請求項6または7に記載の積層皮膜被覆部材。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の積層皮膜がレース部、および/または、玉もしくはころに形成された軸受けである請求項6または7に記載の積層皮膜被覆部材。
