Abstract
【解決手段】衝突が予測された場合にシートバックの傾斜角度の調整とシートベルトの巻取りを同時に行う際に、シートバックの傾斜角度が目標角度よりも車両後方へ倒れた状態の場合には、シートバックを引き起すようにシートアクチュエータを駆動するすると共にプリテンショナアクチュエータを駆動してシートベルトを巻き取るので、シートバックの引き起し動作とシートベルトの巻取り動作の双方によって乗員が拘束される。そこで、シートバックの引き起し動作と同時にシートベルトの巻取りを行う場合には、シートバックの傾斜角度が小さくなる方向にシートバックの傾斜角度を変更する際のプリテンショナアクチュエータの駆動力をシートバックの傾斜角度を変更しないでシートベルトを巻き取る際のプリテンショナアクチュエータの駆動力より小さくする。

Claims (3)
- 自車両に対する緊急状態を予測する予測手段と、
シートクッションに対する傾斜角度が変更可能なシートバックを駆動するための駆動手段と、
駆動力を発生して乗員を拘束するシートベルトを巻取るための巻取駆動手段と、
前記傾斜角度を検出する検出手段と、
前記緊急状態が予測された場合に、前記傾斜角度が所定角度になり、かつシートベルトが巻き取られるように前記駆動手段及び前記巻取駆動手段を制御すると共に、前記傾斜角度が小さくなる方向に前記シートバックの傾斜角度を変更する際の前記巻取駆動手段の駆動力が、前記シートバックの傾斜角度を変更しないで前記シートベルトを巻き取る際の前記巻取駆動手段の駆動力、及び前記傾斜角度が大きくなる方向に前記シートバックの傾斜角度を変更する際の前記巻取駆動手段の駆動力の少なくとも一方の駆動力より小さくなるように制御する制御手段と、
を備えた乗員保護装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記巻取駆動手段をモータで構成し、該モータを駆動するための電流を減少させることによって、前記巻取駆動手段の駆動力を小さくすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の乗員保護装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記傾斜角度が予め定めた角度以上の場合に、前記巻取駆動手段による前記シートベルトの巻き取りを禁止することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の乗員保護装置。
