Abstract
【解決手段】 液晶表示パネル8を有する液晶表示ユニット2と遮光部5を有する透光性の保護パネル3とを対向配置するとともに、これらの間に樹脂組成物10を介在させ、樹脂組成物10を硬化して樹脂硬化物層11とする。樹脂組成物10として、光重合開始剤を含有するとともに、有機過酸化物を熱重合開始剤として含有する光・熱硬化型の樹脂組成物を用る。樹脂組成物10の硬化に際しては、樹脂組成物10の硬化率が30%以上となるまで光(紫外線)照射による硬化を行った後、熱硬化を行う。

Description
ポリイソプレン重合物の無水マレイン酸付加物と2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレートとのエステル化物70重量部、ジシクロペンテニルオキシエチルメタクリレート30重量部、2−ヒドロキシブチルメタクリレート10重量部、テルペン系水素添加樹脂30重量部、ブタジエン重合体140重量部、光重合開始剤4重量部、可視光領域用光重合開始剤0.5重量部、熱重合開始剤(有機過酸化物)(日本油脂社製、商品名パーブチルO)10重量部を混練機で混練して調整した。この樹脂組成物の硬化収縮率は1.8%、当該樹脂組成物を硬化した樹脂硬化物の貯蔵弾性率(25℃)は1×104Paであった。また、樹脂組成物2mgをガラス板上に滴下し、それを紫外線照射により90%以上の硬化率で硬化させた時に得られる樹脂硬化物の平均表面粗度は2.7nmであった。さらに、前記樹脂組成物により厚さ100μmの樹脂硬化物を形成し、紫外可視分光光度計(日本分光社製、商品名V−560)によって可視光領域の透過率を測定したところ、90%以上であった。
硬化収縮率(%)=(硬化物比重−樹脂液比重)/硬化物比重×100
調製した光・熱硬化型樹脂組成物を用い、これを図1(a)に示すように液晶表示ユニット上に0.2g滴下し、アクリル板を保護パネルとして重ねた。なお、保護パネルであるアクリル板の外周囲には、幅5mmの遮光部が形成されている。
Claims (8)
- 画像表示部を有する画像表示ユニットと遮光部を有する透光性の保護パネルとを対向配置するとともに、これらの間に樹脂組成物を介在させ、当該樹脂組成物を硬化して樹脂硬化物とするに際し、
前記樹脂組成物として、光重合開始剤を含有するとともに、有機過酸化物を熱重合開始剤として含有する光・熱硬化型の樹脂組成物を用い、
前記樹脂組成物の硬化率が30%以上となるまで光照射による硬化を行った後、熱硬化を行うことを特徴とする画像表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記保護パネルがプラスチックパネルであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記熱重合開始剤の10時間半減期温度が100℃以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記樹脂組成物の硬化収縮率が5%以下であり、硬化後の樹脂硬化物の25℃における貯蔵弾性率が1×107Pa以下であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記樹脂組成物は、ポリウレタンアクリレート、ポリイソプレン系アクリレートまたはそのエステル化物、テルペン系水素添加樹脂、及びブタジエン重合体から選ばれる1種以上のポリマーと、イソボルニルアクリレート、ジシクロペンテニルオキシエチルメタクリレート、及び2−ヒドロキシブチルメタクリレートから選ばれる1種以上のアクリレート系モノマーと、光重合開始剤及び熱重合開始剤を含有することを特徴とする請求項4記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記保護パネルの外周縁に沿って遮光部が形成されており、前記画像表示ユニットと保護パネル間の樹脂組成物に対して、少なくとも外方側面側から光照射を行うことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記画像表示ユニットに組み込まれた画像表示部が液晶表示パネルであることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項記載の画像表示装置の製造方法。
- 請求項1から7のいずれかに記載される製造方法により製造される画像表示装置。
