Abstract
【解決手段】この混練装置は、バレル6内の混練空間6aに導入される混練対象物を一対のスクリュー4,4を軸回りに回転させることによって混練する混練装置であって、各スクリュー4は、混練対象物の混練時に一対のスクリュー4,4の軸の並ぶ方向に垂直な所定方向に振れを生じる形状を有し、混練空間6aは、各スクリュー4をそれぞれ収容する一対の収容空間6b,6bが互いに径方向の一部分において重なるように繋げられた形状を有し、各収容空間6bは、各スクリュー4が振れを生じる前記所定方向における径が他の方向の径よりも大きくなるように形成されている。

Claims (7)
- 互いに平行に設けられた一対のスクリューと、この一対のスクリューを収容する混練空間を内部に有するバレルと、前記一対のスクリューをそれぞれの軸回りに回転させる駆動部とを備え、前記混練空間に導入される混練対象物を前記各スクリューを軸回りに回転させることによって混練する混練装置であって、
前記各スクリューは、前記混練対象物の混練時にその軸方向に直交する特定方向に振れを生じる形状を有し、
前記混練空間は、前記各スクリューをそれぞれ収容する一対の収容空間が互いに径方向の一部分において重なるように繋げられた形状を有し、
前記各収容空間は、前記特定方向における径が他の方向の径よりも大きくなるように形成された拡径部を軸方向の少なくとも一部に含む、混練装置。 - 前記各スクリューは、前記混練対象物の混練時に前記一対のスクリューの軸の並ぶ方向に垂直な所定方向に振れを生じる形状を有し、
前記拡径部は、前記各スクリューが振れを生じる前記所定方向において他の方向よりも大きい径を有する、請求項1に記載の混練装置。 - 前記一対のスクリューは、互いに等しい形状に形成されているとともに、回転時にその最外径部の通る軌跡が互いに交わるように配置されており、
前記駆動部は、前記一対のスクリューをこれらのスクリューが互いに干渉しないような位相差を保ちながら同方向に回転させる、請求項2に記載の混練装置。 - 前記拡径部を囲む前記バレルの内壁面は、前記各スクリューが振れを生じる前記所定方向に延びる平面部を有し、
前記所定方向における前記平面部の長さLと、前記スクリューの最外径部とそのスクリューが収容された前記拡径部を囲む前記バレルの内壁面の平面部との間のクリアランスCとの比L/Cが1以上4以下である、請求項2または3に記載の混練装置。 - 前記各スクリューは、その軸方向に離間して配置され、前記混練対象物を混練するための複数の混練部を有し、
前記バレルは、その内部の前記混練空間に前記混練対象物を導入するための導入口を有し、
前記拡径部は、前記複数の混練部のうち少なくとも前記導入口の最も近くに配置された混練部を収容するように設けられている、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の混練装置。 - 前記バレルは、その軸方向に連接されることにより前記混練空間を形成する複数のバレルセグメントを含み、
前記複数のバレルセグメントのうちの少なくとも1つが前記拡径部を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の混練装置。 - 前記各スクリューは、その軸方向に離間して配置され、前記混練対象物を混練するための複数の混練部を有し、
前記バレルは、その内部の前記混練空間に前記混練対象物を導入するための導入口を有し、
前記複数のバレルセグメントのうち前記導入口の最も近くに配置された前記混練部を収容するバレルセグメントが前記拡径部を有する、請求項6に記載の混練装置。
