Abstract
【解決手段】単位時間当たりの材料の処理能力に関して、装置の効率を持続的に向上させるために、以下の幾何比を有するスクリューシャフト3を提案する。スクリューシャフト内径Diに対するスクリューシャフト外径Daの比Da/Diは1.5〜2.0であり、ストロークHに対するスクリューシャフト外径Daの比Da/Hは4〜6であり、ストロークHに対するピッチTの比T/Hは1.3〜2.5の間であるスクリュシャフト3。かかるスクリューシャフト3を備えた混合混練装置は、好ましくは500rmpを超える回転速度、特には800rmpを超える回転速度で運転される。

Description
・ Da/Di=1.5〜2.0
すなわちスクリューシャフト内径Diに対するスクリューシャフト外径Daの比が1.5と2.0の間となる。
・ Da/H=4〜6
すなわち、ストロークHに対するスクリューシャフト外径Daの比が4と6の間となる。
・ T/H=1.3〜2.5
すなわち、ストロークHに対するピッチTの比が1.3と2.5の間となる。
それぞれ100〜500rmpという通常の回転速度でプラスチック組成物に対して、装置の構造(処理領域の構成)を従来と原理的に同様のままにして、ブス・コニーダー(回転と同時に搬送動作する単一スクリュー混練機)で行った。
バランスの取れたせん断速度レベルによって、混合、分散及び均質化が適正に達成されることとなる。混合分散装置分野の現状の最新技術においては、標準的な配合の通常の値は、溶解物中の平均せん断速度が20 1/s〜150 1/sの範囲であり、スクリューの全長に対する平均製品滞留時間が30〜600秒である。

Claims (11)
- ケーシング(2)内で回転すると同時に軸方向に並進移動するスクリューシャフト(3)を含む、連続配合用の混合混練装置(1)であって、スクリューシャフト内径Diに対するスクリューシャフト外径Daの比Da/Diは1.5と2.0の間であり、ストロークHに対するスクリューシャフト外径Daの比Da/Hは4と6の間であり、ストロークHに対するピッチTの比T/Hは1.3と2.5の間であることを特徴とする混合混練装置(1)。
- 前記スクリューシャフト(3)は500rpmを超える回転速度、特には800rpmを超える回転速度で運転されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の混合混練装置(1)。
- 前記混合混練装置(1)は、加工空間(6)を形成する複数の領域を運搬方向に連続して具えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の混合混練装置(1)。
- 前記加工空間(6)は、少なくとも一つの送り込み領域(8)、溶解領域(9)、混合/分散領域(10)、及び脱気領域(11)により形成されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の混合混練装置(1)。
- 前記スクリューシャフト(3)の回転速度は、装置内における製品滞留時間が1秒と20秒の間となるように加工空間(6)の長さに適合されていることを特徴とする、請求項3または4に記載の混合混練装置(1)。
- スクリュー羽根(4)のピッチは、500rpmを超えるスクリューシャフト(3)の回転速度での装置内における製品滞留時間が最大で20秒となるように、加工空間(6)の長さに適合されていることを特徴とする、請求項3または4に記載の混合混練装置(1)。
- 前記混合混練装置(1)は、ケーシング(2)に固定され、加工空間(6)内に突出した混練ピン(5)を具え、スクリュー羽根(4)及び/または混練ピン(5)の主表面が少なくとも部分的に自由形成された表面として構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の混合混練装置(1)。
- スクリュー羽根(4)及び/または混練ピン(5)の主表面の三次元配置は、いずれの箇所にも自然原点を持たないように少なくとも部分的に構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の混合混練装置(1)。
- 請求項1に記載の混合混練装置を用いて連続配合を実施する方法において、スクリューシャフトが500rmpを超える回転速度、特には800rpmを超える回転速度で運転されることを特徴とする方法。
- スクリューシャフトの回転速度は、装置内における平均製品滞留時間が1秒と20秒の間となるよう適合される、請求項9に記載の方法。
- バルク流動性プラスチック及び/又は粘着体が準備される、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。
