Abstract
Description
本願は、米国仮特許出願第60/674,106号および同第60/673,876号(ともに2005年4月21日出願)の35U.S.C.§119(e)での利益を主張し、各出願の内容は本明細書において参照により援用される。

Claims (126)

該エネルギー放出要素と連結するように構成されかつ活性化状態および待機状態を有するエネルギー発生器であって、該待機状態ではなく該活性化状態において活性化エネルギーが該エネルギー放出装置に送出される、エネルギー発生器と、
処理部および少なくとも1つの可視指示器のあるユーザーインターフェース表面を有する制御器であって、該処理部は該温度検出要素によって測定される温度が所定の温度範囲内にないときには可視指示器を起動させるように構成されている、制御器と、

処理部ならびに、第一可視指示器および第二可視指示器のあるユーザーインターフェース表面を有する制御器であって、該処理部は該温度検出要素によって測定される温度が所定の温度範囲内にないときには、該第一可視指示器を起動し、該エネルギー発生器、該エネルギー放出要素、および患者との間のエネルギー放出回路のインピーダンスが所定のインピーダンス範囲内にないときには、該第二可視指示器を起動するように構成されている、制御器と、
を備えるシステム。 - 治療部位に送出されるように構成され、かつ温度検出要素およびエネルギー放出要素を有する治療エネルギー送出装置と、
前記エネルギー放出要素と連結するように構成されかつ活性化状態および待機状態を有するエネルギー発生器であって、該待機状態ではなく該活性化状態において活性化エネルギーが該エネルギー放出要素に送出される、エネルギー発生器と、
処理部ならびに、第一可視指示器および第二可視指示器のあるユーザーインターフェース表面を有する制御器であって、該処理部は該温度検出要素によって測定される温度が所定の温度範囲内にないときには、該第一可視指示器を起動し、該エネルギー発生器、該エネルギー放出要素、および患者との間のエネルギー放出回路のインピーダンスが所定のインピーダンス範囲内にないときには、該第二可視指示器を起動するように構成されている、制御器と、
を備える、エネルギー送出システム。 - 患者の標的組織に隣接する治療部位に送出され、かつ治療RFエネルギーを該標的組織に送出するように構成される、その遠位部に配置される電極および温度検出要素を有する、治療エネルギー送出カテーテルと、
該電極と連結するように構成されかつ活性化状態および待機状態を有するRFエネルギー発生器であって、該待機状態ではなく該活性化状態においてRFエネルギーが該電極に送出される、RFエネルギー発生器と、
処理部ならびに第一可視指示器および第二可視指示器のあるユーザーインターフェース表面を有する制御器と、
を備える、エネルギー送出システムであって、
該処理部は、
該RFエネルギー発生器の該活性化状態への起動の前に、該温度検出要素によって採取される温度測定値、および該RFエネルギー発生器と該標的組織との間のインピーダンス測定値を処理し、
該温度検出要素によって測定される温度が所定の温度範囲内にない場合には、該第一可視指示器を起動し、
該RFエネルギー発生器と該電極に隣接する標的組織との間のインピーダンスが所定の値以上である場合には、該第二可視指示器を起動するように、
構成されている、
システム。 - 前記第一および第二可視指示器はLEDを備える、請求項61に記載のエネルギー送出システム。
- 前記第一および第二可視指示器は、前記ユーザーインターフェース表面上の前記エネルギー送出カテーテルの少なくとも一部の図式表示に隣接して配置される、請求項61に記載のエネルギー送出システム。
- 前記ユーザーインターフェース表面は、前記エネルギー送出カテーテルの前記図式表示に隣接して配置される該エネルギー送出カテーテルに対するインターフェース連結器をさらに備える、請求項63に記載のエネルギー送出システム。
- 前記処理部は、前記第一または第二可視指示器のいずれかが起動されるときには、音声エラー音を起動するようにさらに構成される、請求項61に記載のエネルギー送出システム。
- 前記所定のインピーダンス範囲は最大約1000オームまでである、請求項61に記載のエネルギー送出システム。
- 前記所定の温度範囲は約20℃から約30℃までである、請求項61に記載のシステム。

- 前記処理部と通信していて、かつ気管支鏡カメラの入力と通信するように構成されるインターフェース連結器をさらに備える、請求項61に記載のシステムであって、該処理部は、該システムの状態または該システムによって実施される治療周期について該気管支鏡カメラの入力へ情報を伝達し、その結果として、該情報が該気管支鏡の表示部内で表示され得る、システム。
- 前記ユーザーインターフェース表面は、前記処理部と通信していて、かつ前記システムの状態または該システムによって実施される治療周期についての情報を表示するように構成される、デジタル表示部をさらに備える、請求項61に記載のシステム。
- 臓器の管腔通路を取り囲む平滑筋組織を有する臓器組織網を治療するための方法であって、
レンダリングシステムを使用して該臓器組織網の少なくとも一部の地図を作成するステップと、
該臓器組織網の該管腔通路内の少なくとも1つの治療場所を選択するステップと、
該平滑筋組織を治療するために該治療場所にエネルギー療法を適用するステップであって、個々の治療場所に適用される該エネルギー療法は複数のパラメータによって定義される、ステップと、
を包含する、方法。 - 前記臓器組織網は気道を備え、前記平滑筋組織は気道平滑筋組織を備える、請求項71に記載の方法。
- 前記地図を前記臓器組織網内の複数場所と相関させるステップ、をさらに包含する、請求項71に記載の方法。
- 前記地図の実質的な部分は、少なくとも1つの治療場所を選択する前に作成される、請求項71に記載の方法。

- 前記治療履歴プロファイルの少なくとも一部を表示するステップは、医療ケア提供者が一回以上のエネルギー療法を適用するときに、治療場所を重複することを回避できるようにする、請求項85に記載の方法。

- 最短時間は、時間の要因を最小限にするアルゴリズム、ナビゲーションの困難さ、または臓器間の大きさの違いに基づいて算出される、請求項99に記載の方法。

- 前記治療装置は、前記レンダリングシステムと通信していて、臓器内の該装置の動きを検出して前記地図の前記一部を作成する感知器アセンブリをさらに含む、請求項116に記載の方法。
- 前記感知器アセンブリは発光源、感知器、およびデジタル信号処理部を備え、該発光源は該感知器に向けて臓器壁で光を反射し、該感知器は該デジタル信号処理部へ複数の画像を伝達し、該デジタル信号処理部は画像を比較することによって前記装置の動きを決定する、請求項118に記載の方法。
