Claims (28)
- エレクトロルミネセンスデバイスの製造方法であって、
基材上にエレクトロルミネセンス素子を形成する工程と、
光学スペーサーを前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子へと選択的に熱転写し、光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成する工程と、
を含んでなる方法。 - 前記光学スペーサーが色フィルターである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光学スペーサーを選択的に熱転写する工程が、
ベース層、光熱変換層および1つ以上の転写層を含んでなるドナーシートを提供する工程と、
前記1つ以上の転写層が前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子に近接するように前記ドナーシートを位置決めする工程と、
前記ドナーシートの部分を選択的に照射し、前記1つ以上の転写層の部分を前記ドナーシートから前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子へと熱転写する工程と
を含んでなる請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記1つ以上の転写層が光学スペーサー層を含んでなる請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上の転写層が部分的反射界面をさらに含んでなる請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上の転写層が部分的反射層をさらに含んでなる請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上の転写層が色フィルター層をさらに含んでなる請求項3に記載の方法。
- 色フィルターを前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子へと選択的に熱転写する工程をさらに含んでなる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記色フィルターを選択的に熱転写する工程が、
ベース層、光熱変換層および1つ以上の転写層を含んでなるドナーシートを提供する工程と、
前記1つ以上の転写層が前記光学スペーサーに近接するように前記ドナーシートを位置決めする工程と、
前記ドナーシートの部分を選択的に照射し、前記1つ以上の転写層の部分を前記ドナーシートから前記光学スペーサーへと熱転写する工程と
を含んでなる請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記1つ以上の転写層が色フィルター層を含んでなる請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子上にブラックマトリックスを形成する工程をさらに含んでなる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ブラックマトリックスを形成する工程が、前記ブラックマトリックスを前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子に選択的に熱転写する工程を含んでなる請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記基材が複数の独立してアドレス可能なアクティブデバイスを含んでなる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光学スペーサーの屈折率が、前記光学スペーサーが転写される前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子の表面の屈折率と実質的に適合する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数の光学スペーサーを前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子へと選択的に熱転写し、複数の光学キャビティの各光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成する工程をさらに含んでなり、前記複数の光学キャビティの少なくとも1つの光学キャビティが赤色光を通過させるように同調され、前記複数の光学キャビティの少なくとも1つの光学キャビティが緑色光を通過させるように同調され、そして前記複数の光学キャビティの少なくとも1つの光学キャビティが青色光を通過させるように同調される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数の光学スペーサーを前記エレクトロルミネセンス素子へと選択的に熱転写し、複数の光学キャビティの各光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成する工程をさらに含んでなり、前記複数の光学キャビティの少なくとも1つの光学キャビティが赤色光を発光するように同調され、前記複数の光学キャビティの少なくとも1つの光学キャビティが緑色光を発光するように同調され、そして前記複数の光学キャビティの少なくとも1つの光学キャビティが青色光を発光するように同調される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 基材と、
前記基材上のエレクトロルミネセンス素子と、
前記基材上の複数の光学スペーサーと
を含んでなり、前記複数の光学スペーサーの少なくとも1つの光学スペーサーが光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成するエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。 - 前記複数の光学スペーサーの前記少なくとも1つの光学スペーサーが色フィルターである請求項17に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- 前記複数の光学スペーサー上に部分的反射界面をさらに含んでなる請求項17に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- 前記部分的反射界面上に複数の色フィルター素子をさらに含んでなる請求項19に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- 前記複数の光学スペーサーの少なくとも1つの光学スペーサーが、第1の色の光を通過させるように同調された光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成し、そして前記複数の光学スペーサーの少なくとも1つの光学スペーサーが、第2の色の光を通過させるように同調された光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成する、請求項17に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- 前記第1の色の光が赤色であり、そして前記第2の色の光が緑色である請求項21に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- さらに前記複数の光学スペーサーの少なくとも1つの光学スペーサーが、青色光を通過させるように同調された光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成する請求項22に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- 前記部分的反射界面上に複数の色フィルター素子をさらに含んでなり、前記複数の色フィルターの少なくとも1つの色フィルターが、赤色光を通過させるように同調された前記光学キャビティ上の赤色フィルターであり、前記複数の色フィルターの少なくとも1つの色フィルターが、緑色光を通過させるように同調された前記光学キャビティ上の緑色フィルターであり、そして前記複数の色フィルターの少なくとも1つの色フィルターが、青色光を通過させるように同調された前記光学キャビティ上の青色フィルターである、請求項23に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- 前記複数の光学スペーサーの少なくとも1つの光学スペーサーが、第1の色の光を発光するように同調された光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成し、そして前記複数の光学スペーサーの少なくとも1つの光学スペーサーが、第2の色の光を発光するように同調された光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成する、請求項17に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- 前記第1の色の光が赤色であり、そして前記第2の色の光が緑色である請求項25に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- さらに前記複数の光学スペーサーの少なくとも1つの光学スペーサーが、青色光を発光するように同調された光学キャビティの少なくとも一部を形成する、請求項26に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
- 前記部分的反射界面上に複数の色フィルター素子をさらに含んでなり、前記複数の色フィルターの少なくとも1つの色フィルターが、赤色光を発光するように同調された前記光学キャビティ上の赤色フィルターであり、前記複数の色フィルターの少なくとも1つの色フィルターが、緑色光を発光するように同調された前記光学キャビティ上の緑色フィルターであり、そして前記複数の色フィルターの少なくとも1つの色フィルターが、青色光を発光するように同調された前記光学キャビティ上の青色フィルターである、請求項27に記載のエレクトロルミネセンスデバイス。
