制作材料の連続層を受ける回転式制作テーブルと、
前記制作テーブルの上方に設けられた少なくとも一つのプリントヘッドのアレイとを含む装置。 - 前記制作テーブルが連続的に回転する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 更に、制作材料分配システムを含み、このシステムは
前記制作材料を保持する貯留手段と、
制作材料を前記制作テーブルに分配する搬送手段とを含む請求項1に記載の装置。 - 更に、少なくとも二つの制作材料の成分を相互に別々に保持する少なくとも二つの貯留チャンバと、
制作テーブルに供給するために、前記制作材料の成分を所定の比率で混合するブレンダーとを具えた請求項1に記載の装置。 - 更に、前記制作テーブルの少なくとも一部の上方に制作材料を分布させるスプレッダーを含む請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記スプレッダーが逆回転するローラーを含む請求項5に記載の装置。
- 過剰制作材料を前記制作テーブルの縁から移動させるために前記逆回転ローラーが回転式制作テーブルの半径に対して傾斜している請求項6に記載の装置。
- 更に、制作材料の過剰量を検出するために前記制作テーブルの縁の下方に設けられたセンサーを含む請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記制作テーブルに分配された制作材料の量が、検出された制作材料の過剰量に応じて調節される請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが半径方向への連続的走査運動によって、前記制作テーブルの全面をプリントする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイは、調節されることなく回転式制作テーブルの実質的に任意の半径方向位置に流体を分配するように構成されている請求項1に記載の装置。

- 更に、前記装置の少なくとも一つの性能特性を監視するセンサーを含み、前記特性は、プリント品質、プリントミス、プリント速度、プリントヘッドの状態、制作材料の量、テーブルの位置からなる群から選ばれる請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置の作用が、前記センサーから受け取った信号に応じて修正される請求項18に記載の装置。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが、前記センサーからの信号に応じて移動することができる請求項19に記載の装置。
- 更に、複数の回転式制作テーブルを含む請求項1に記載の装置。

制作材料の連続層を受ける概ね円形の制作テーブルと、
前記制作テーブルの上方に設けられて、制作テーブルに対して移動可能な少なくとも一つのプリントヘッドのアレイとを含む装置。 - 前記プリントヘッドのアレイは、概ね円形の制作テーブルによって形成された制作面の少なくとも一部の上方で移動可能である請求項22に記載の装置。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイは、半径方向所望場所まで移動されることによって、前記制作テーブルの実質的に任意の半径方向の場所で流体を分配するように構成されている請求項22に記載の装置。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが、前記制作テーブルの周囲を連続的に移動する請求項22に記載の装置。
- 概ね円形の制作テーブルが垂直方向に移動可能である請求項22に記載の装置。
- 三次元物体を製作する方法であって、
制作材料の連続層を回転式制作テーブル上に載せ、
制作材料の連続各層の上に所定パターンで液体を載せる工程を含む。 - 更に、前記制作テーブルを連続的に回転させる工程を含む請求項27に記載の方法。
- 制作材料の連続層を回転式制作テーブル上に載せる前記工程が、スプレッダーによって制作テーブルの少なくとも一部に制作材料を分布させることを含む請求項27に記載の方法。
- 更に、回転式制作テーブル上に載せられた制作材料の過剰量を測定する工程を含む請求項27に記載の方法。
- 更に、測定された制作材料の過剰量に基づいて、回転式制作テーブルの上に載せられた制作材料の量を調節する工程を含む請求項30に記載の方法。
- 液体を載せる前記工程が、少なくとも一つのプリントヘッドのアレイによって行われる請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが、調節されることなく前記回転式制作テーブルの実質的に任意の半径方向位置に流体を分配するように構成されている請求項32に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが、半径方向への連続的走査運動によって前記制作テーブルの全面をプリントする請求項32に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが、前記回転式制作テーブルに対して半径方向に次第に大きく調節可能である請求項32に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが、使役のために通常のプリント位置から変位可能である請求項32に記載の方法。
- 更に、三次元物体を取り出す工程を含む請求項27に記載の方法。
- 三次元物体を製作する方法であって、
制作材料の連続層を概ね円形の回転式制作テーブル上に載せ、
制作材料の連続各層の上に所定のパターンで液体を載せる工程を含む方法。 - 液体を載せる工程が少なくとも一つのプリントヘッドのアレイによって行われる請求項38に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが、概ね円形の制作テーブルによって形成された制作面の少なくとも一部の上方を移動可能である請求項39に記載の方法。
- 概ね円形の制作テーブルが垂直方向に移動可能である請求項38に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントヘッドのアレイが、所定場所まで移動することによって、前記制作テーブルの実質的に任意の半径方向の場所に流体を分配する請求項39に記載の方法。
- 三次元プリンターに使用されるプリントヘッドを清掃するための装置であって、
ベースと、
前記ベース内に設けられたカムトラックと、
前記カムトラックとスライド可能に係合するキャップ・キャリアと、
空洞を形成し、前記キャリアによって搬送可能にプリントヘッドの一面と係合する前記キャリア上に設けられた封止キャップとを含む装置。 - プリントヘッド面を清掃するために前記キャップと連通する清掃流体源と、
使用済みの洗浄流体と残骸を除去するために前記キャップと連通する真空源とを更に、含む請求項43に記載の装置。 - 前記真空源が空洞内に負圧を発生させ、この負圧が洗浄流体がジェットノズルへ浸入することを防ぎ、かつジェットノズルから結合剤流体と残骸の少なくとも一方を吸引する請求項44に記載の装置。
- 前記キャリアと前記ベースに連結されて、プリントヘッドを受けるための受け位置へキャリアを付勢するスプリングを更に含む請求項43に記載の装置。
- 前記キャリアは、プリントヘッドが装置に侵入するときにプリントヘッドに係合するように前記キャリアの先端に設けられたストッパーを含み、かつプリントヘッドは、前記ストッパーに係合した後にプリントヘッド面とキャップとが封鎖止可能に係合するまでキャリアをカムトラックに沿って後方にスライドさせる請求項46に記載の装置。
- 前記キャリアに係合して前記キャリアの前進を防止するために前記ベースに連結されたラッチ爪を更に含む請求項47に記載の装置。
- 前記キャリアの基端に設けられたスキージーを更に含み、前記スキージーは、プリントヘッドが装置を出る際にプリントヘッド面と係合するように位置決めされている請求項48に記載の装置。
- 三次元プリンターに使用されたプリントヘッドを清掃する方法であって、
ベースと、前記ベース内に設けられたカムトラックと、前記カムトラックにスライド可能に係合するキャップ・キャリアと、空洞を形成し、かつ前記キャリア上に設けられた封止キャップとを含む装置内にプリントヘッドを受け、
前記キャップをプリントヘッド面と係合させ、
前記空洞を真空で吸引し、
清掃流体を前記空洞内に導入して、プリントヘッド面に接触させる工程を含む方法。 - 更に、前記空洞から清掃流体を除去する工程を含む請求項50に記載の方法。
- 更に、
キャップをプリントヘッド面から外し、
プリントヘッドが装置から引き出される際に、スキージーによってプリントヘッド面を拭き取る工程を含む請求項51に記載の方法。 - 真空源が前記空洞内に負圧を発生させ、この負圧が洗浄流体のジェットノズルへの浸入を防ぎ、そして前記ジェットノズルから結合剤流体と残骸の少なくとも一方を吸引する請求項50に記載の方法。
- プリントヘッドを再調整するための装置であって、

- 洗浄溶液を加圧下でノズルアレイに供給する流体源を更に含む請求項54に記載の装置。
- 前記ノズルアレイが、プリントヘッドに対して所定の角度で洗浄溶液をスプレーするように位置決めされている請求項54に記載の装置。
- 前記吸取部材が、プリントヘッド面に位置するプリントノズルに接触することなく、プリントヘッド面の近傍に設けられている請求項54に記載の装置。
- 前記吸取部材と前記プリントノズルとの間の距離が自動的に維持される請求項59に記載の装置。
- 前記吸取部材の一部を、前記プリントノズルから離れた場所でプリントヘッド面に載せることによって、前記距離が維持される請求項60に記載の装置。
- 洗浄溶液と残骸を集める容器を更に含む請求項54に記載の装置。
- プリントヘッドを再調整方法であって、
少なくとも一つのノズルに対してプリントヘッドの一面を位置決めし、
この少なくとも一つのノズルを作動させて、洗浄溶液を前記プリントヘッド面にスプレーし、
吸取部材を前記プリントヘッド面に接触しないように、プリントヘッド面の近傍を通過させることによって、プリントヘッド面から過剰な洗浄溶液を除去する工程を含む方法。 - 少なくとも一つのノズルを作動させる前記工程が、洗浄溶液を前記プリントヘッド面に対して一定の角度でスプレーすることを含む請求項63に記載の方法。
- プリントヘッドを作動させて、洗浄溶液を清掃の際にプリントヘッドに入った洗浄溶液を追い出す工程を更に含む請求項63に記載の方法。
- プリントヘッド面から過剰な洗浄溶液を除去する前記工程が、前記吸取部材と前記プリントヘッド面上に設けられたプリントノズルとの間の空間を自動的に維持することを含む請求項63に記載の方法。
- プリントヘッド面から過剰な洗浄溶液を除去する前記工程が、更に、前記プリントノズルから離れた場所で、前記吸取部材の一部を前記プリントヘッド面上に付勢することによって前記空間を維持することを更に含む請求項66に記載の方法。
