Abstract
【解決手段】現在の内部抵抗Rの下での、現在のバッテリ電流Ibおよびバッテリ電圧Vb(動作点510)より、バッテリ電圧が下限電圧Veに達するまでバッテリ出力電力を増加させた場合の最大放電可能電流Idmax=Ib+(Vb−Ve)/Rで示される(動作点520)。したがって、現在のバッテリ電圧およびバッテリ電流に対する相対値として、一時的に放電制限を緩和してもバッテリ電圧が下限電圧より低下しない最大放電可能電力を、下限電圧Veおよび最大放電可能電流Idmaxの乗算に従って予測することができる。負荷の放電要求に応じて、バッテリ(蓄電装置)の放電電力制限を一時的に緩和する際には、放電許容電力値は、この最大放電可能電力に対応して設定される。

Description
蓄電装置の一例として示される走行用バッテリ220は、図示するように複数のセルを直列接続した組電池であり、鉛蓄電池、リチウムイオン電池やニッケル水素電池等の二次電池により構成される。走行用バッテリ220は、インバータ240,241およびコンバータ242を介して、モータジェネレータ140A,140B(MG(1),MG(2))と接続されている。すなわち、本実施の形態では、インバータ240,241およびコンバータ242ならびにモータジェネレータ140A,140B(MG(1),MG(2))が、一体的に走行用バッテリ220の負荷を構成する。
図4を参照して、動作点510は、現在のバッテリ電流Ibおよびバッテリ電圧Vbに対応する。そして、最大放電可能電力Pe出力時の動作点520では、バッテリ電流が最大放電可能電流Idmaxであり、バッテリ電圧が下限電圧Veである。この際に、動作点510および520は、現在の推定内部抵抗Rを傾きとする直線上に位置する。
さらに、バッテリECU260は、ステップS180では、一時的な放電電力制限のため、制限緩和期間Δtに限り最大放電可能電力Peに対応させて放電電力許容値Woutを設定する。代表的には、放電電力許容値Wout=Peと設定すればよいが、マージンを設けてWout<Peに設定してもよい。なお、一時的な放電電力制限の緩和期間が制限緩和期間Δtを超えた場合には、ステップS150の判定がYES判定となるように、HV_ECU320からの要求フラグが変更される。
図6を参照して、動作点510♯は、現在のバッテリ電流Ibおよびバッテリ電圧Vbに対応する。そして、最大充電可能電力Pu入力時の動作点520♯では、バッテリ電流が最大充電可能電流Icmaxであり、バッテリ電圧が下限電圧Veである。この際に、動作点510および420は、現在の推定内部抵抗Rを傾きとする直線上に位置する。
さらに、バッテリECU260は、ステップS185では、一時的な充電電力制限のため、制限緩和期間Δt♯に限り最大充電可能電力Puに対応させて充電電力許容値Winを設定する。代表的には、充電電力許容値Win=Puと設定すればよいが、マージンを設けて|Win|<|Pu|に設定してもよい。なお、一時的な充電電力制限の緩和期間が制限緩和期間Δtを超えた場合には、ステップS155の判定がYES判定となるように、HV_ECU320からの要求フラグが変更される。
Claims (5)
- 蓄電装置の出力電圧を下限電圧から上限電圧までの電圧範囲内に維持するための充放電制御装置であって、
現時点における前記蓄電装置の状態を示す測定値を取得するための状態取得手段と、
前記蓄電装置の充放電電力制限のための放電電力許容値および充電電力許容値を設定するための第1の制限設定手段と、
前記蓄電装置の負荷からの要求に応じて、所定の許容期間において、前記充放電電力制限を前記第1の制限手段によりも一時的に緩和するための第2の制限設定手段と、
前記状態取得手段により取得された前記測定値に基づき、現時点における前記蓄電装置の内部抵抗を推定するための内部抵抗推定手段とを備え、
前記第2の制限設定手段は、
前記状態取得手段により取得された前記測定値のうちの電池電圧および電池電流ならびに、前記内部抵抗推定手段により推定された前記内部抵抗に基づき、放電電力および充電電力の増加によって前記出力電圧が前記下限電圧および前記上限電圧にそれぞれ達する際の前記蓄電装置の放電電力および充電電力のうちの少なくとも一方を予測するための予測手段と、
前記放電電力許容値および前記充電電力許容値のうちの少なくとも一方を、前記予測手段により予測された前記放電電力および前記充電電力の少なくとも一方に従って設定する許容値設定手段とを含む、蓄電装置の充放電制御装置。 - 前記予測手段は、現在の前記電池電圧および前記下限電圧の電圧差を前記内部抵抗によって除算することによって前記蓄電装置の放電電流許容増加量を求めるとともに、前記放電電流許容増加量および前記電池電流の和で示される放電電流と前記下限電圧との乗算に従って、前記出力電圧が前記下限電圧に至る際の前記放電電力を予測する、請求項1記載の蓄電装置の充放電制御装置。
- 前記予測手段は、現在の前記電池電圧および前記上限電圧の電圧差を前記内部抵抗によって除算することによって前記蓄電装置の充電電流許容増加量を求めるとともに、前記充電電流許容増加量および前記電池電流の和で示される充電電流と前記上限電圧との乗算に従って、前記出力電圧が前記上限電圧に至る際の前記充電電力を予測する、請求項1記載の蓄電装置の充放電制御装置。
- 前記蓄電装置と、
車両駆動力を発生するための内燃機関と、
前記蓄電装置との間で双方向に電力授受可能に構成された第1および第2の電動機と、
請求項1または2記載の蓄電装置の充放電制御装置とを備えた電動車両であって、
前記第1の電動機は、前記蓄電装置の放電電力により回転駆動されることによって内燃機関を始動可能に構成され、
前記第2の電動機は、前記蓄電装置の放電電力により前記内燃機関とは独立に前記車両駆動力を発生可能に構成され、
前記充放電制御装置は、
前記内燃機関の始動時、および、前記第2の電動機への出力要求が所定以上となったときの少なくとも一方において、前記第2の制限設定手段により前記放電電力許容値を設定する、電動車両。 - 前記蓄電装置と、
車両駆動力を発生するための内燃機関と、
前記蓄電装置との間で双方向に電力授受可能に構成された電動機と、
請求項1または3記載の蓄電装置の充放電制御装置とを備えた電動車両であって、
前記電動機は、前記蓄電装置の放電電力により前記内燃機関とは独立に前記車両駆動力を発生可能であるとともに、前記電動車両の減速時に回生トルクの発生による回生制動発電によって前記蓄電装置の充電電力を発生可能に構成され、
前記充放電制御装置は、
前記電動機に要求される前記回生トルクの絶対値が所定以上と判断されるときに、前記第2の制限設定手段により前記充電電力許容値を設定する、電動車両。
