Abstract
【解決手段】表示側部材と、開口部4aを形成した拡散反射層4とガラス基板5とを有する背面側部材と、両部材間に介挿された液晶層7とを備える透過形液晶表示装置において、ガラス基板5は、拡散反射層4側の面の反対面に、拡散反射層4の開口部4a形成時の露光・除去処理に使用した開口部形成用レンズ3と、開口部形成用レンズ3で生じた凹凸面を平坦にする平坦化層3aとを有する。

Description
以下、本発明の部分透過形液晶表示装置及び携帯電話機器と携帯情報端末機器並びに拡散反射層の開口部形成方法の実施例について、図面を参照して説明する。
Claims (6)
- 表示側部材と、開口部を形成した拡散反射層とガラス基板とを有する背面側部材と、両部材間に介挿された液晶層とを備える部分透過形液晶表示装置において、
前記ガラス基板は、前記拡散反射層側の面の反対面に、該拡散反射層の開口部形成時の露光・除去処理に使用した開口部形成用レンズと、該開口部形成用レンズで生じる凹凸面を平坦にする平坦化層とを有することを特徴とする部分透過形液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の部分透過形液晶表示装置において、
前記開口部形成用レンズの屈折率は、前記平坦化層の屈折率よりも0.02〜0.25高いことを特徴とする部分透過形液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の部分透過形液晶表示装置を用いたことを特徴とする携帯電話機器。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の部分透過形液晶表示装置を用いたことを特徴とする携帯情報端末機器。
- 開口部形成用レンズを取り付けたガラス基板における開口部形成用レンズ取付面の反対側の面を拡散反射層に張り合わせ、前記開口部形成用レンズを用いてセルフアライメントにて前記拡散反射層を露光・除去処理することにより、前記開口部形成用レンズと同軸上に開口部を形成することを特徴とする拡散反射層の開口部形成方法。
- 請求項5記載の拡散反射層の開口部形成方法において、
前記開口部形成用レンズをガラス基板に取り付ける際に、開口部形成用レンズ形状に切削した金型を用いて形成した凸レンズ付フィルムを転写原型として凹レンズ付フィルムを形成し、得られた凹レンズ付フィルムと薄膜層の積層体の薄膜層面を前記ガラス基板に押しつけ、次に前記凹レンズ付フィルムを剥離することを特徴とする拡散反射層の開口部形成方法。
