Abstract
Description
ムーニー粘度を、121℃において1分の予熱および10分の試験を用いてASTM D1646によって測定した。
1)100℃において炉を安定化させる。
2)ASTM D−412についてと同様、ダイCを用いて、試験される試料からダンベルを切り分けた。
3)試料の略中心に2.54cm(1インチ)の平行な標線を記す。
4)ダンベルを調整取付具(set fixture)内に置き、標線の間の距離が5.08cm(2.0インチ)になるまで、試料を伸長する。これは100%の歪みに相関する。
5)3時間、積載された調整取付具を100℃の炉内に置く。
6)3時間後に、取付具を炉から取り出し、伸長された試料を1時間、室温(21℃±2℃)において冷却させる。
7)試料を取付具から取り出し、平滑な木製または厚紙表面上に試料を置く。試料をそっと剥離する。
8)試料を30±2分間、取付具から出した後、標線間の距離を測定し、記録する。又、試料をさらに、60±2分においての弾性回復について検査してもよい。
9)以下の式が永久歪の値を与える。

tl=試験長さ(5.08cm)
リン酸水素二カリウムと過硫酸塩フリーラジカル開始剤とを水に溶かした溶液を圧力反応器内に置いた。反応器を脱気し、シリンジによってヘキサメチルジシラン(HMDS)を添加する前に連続4回、入口弁の隔膜を通して窒素を充填した。71℃の温度に加熱された反応器の内容物を、機械的撹拌機を用いて撹拌した。反応器圧力は、3つのモノマーのテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)および二フッ化ビニリデン(VDF)の混合物を充填する間に増加する。重合の開始後、反応器圧力は、モノマーの混合物をさらに添加することによって所望のレベルに維持された。モノマーの混合物の選択された量が添加された後、反応時間を記録し、反応器および内容物を室温に冷却させた。一切の過剰なモノマーの未反応混合物を反応器から抜いた。
Claims (16)
- テトラフルオロエチレン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレンおよび二フッ化ビニリデンを含み、約107〜約108を中心とする第1の分子量を有する第1のターポリマーと、
テトラフルオロエチレン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレンおよび二フッ化ビニリデンを含み、約104を中心とする第2の分子量を有し、前記第1のターポリマーと組み合わされて混合ターポリマーを提供する、第2のターポリマーと、
前記混合ターポリマー100部当たり約0.5部〜約2部の量の加工助剤と、
前記混合ターポリマー100部当たり約2部〜約15部の量の充填剤と、
前記混合ターポリマー100部当たり10部以下の量の油と、
硬化剤と、
を含むフルオロエラストマー組成物を含有し、
前記フルオロエラストマー組成物が高温において硬化した時に21%以下の永久歪値を有する常温収縮物品を提供する、常温収縮物品。 - 約420%〜約620%の伸びを有する、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記伸びが約500%〜約550%である、請求項2に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記混合ターポリマーが、前記第1のターポリマー70重量%と前記第2のターポリマー30重量%とを組み合わせることによって形成される、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記加工助剤がワックスおよびアミンからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記ワックスの1つがカルナバワックスである、請求項5に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記アミンの1つがステアリルアミン、好ましくはアーミン(ARMEEN)18Dである、請求項5に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記充填剤が補強充填剤である、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記補強充填剤が、金属酸化物およびカーボンブラックおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項8に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記油の前記量が、前記混合ターポリマー100部当たり約7部以下である、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記油の前記量が、前記混合ターポリマー100部当たり約5部以下である、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記油がハロカーボン油である、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記ハロカーボン油がクロロトリフルオロエチレンである、請求項12に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記フルオロエラストマー組成物が、前記混合ターポリマー100部当たり約2部〜約10部の少なくとも1つの酸受容体をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記酸受容体が、金属酸化物および金属水酸化物およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項14に記載の常温収縮物品。
- 前記フルオロエラストマー組成物が、前記混合ターポリマー100部当たり前記硬化剤を2.0部の量で含有する、請求項1に記載の常温収縮物品。
