Abstract
本発明は、水素ガスが発生しない無水銀アルカリ電池の提供を目的とするものである。
【解決手段】
本発明のアルカリ電池は、正極と、亜鉛合金粉末を含む負極と、前記正極と前記負極を分離するセパレータと、アルカリ電解液と、前記正極を配する正極缶と、前記負極を配する負極缶であって、導電性高分子による表面処理後に形成した錫被覆層を有し、前記錫被覆層を介して前記負極と接している負極缶と、前記正極缶と前記負極缶とに挟持されるガスケットとからなる。

Description
集電体層9より錫被覆層10の方が、アルカリ電解液が這い上がり易いためである。
この比較例1においては、負極缶4に通常の無電解メッキで0.1μm厚の錫被覆層を形成した負極缶を用いてアルカリ電池を作製した。ポリアニリンによる負極缶の表面処理は行っていない。他の条件は、実施例1と同様とした。

Claims (14)
- 正極と、亜鉛合金粉末を含む負極と、前記正極と前記負極を分離するセパレータと、アルカリ電解液と、前記正極を配する正極缶と、前記負極を配する負極缶であって、導電性高分子による表面処理後に形成した錫被覆層を有し、前記錫被覆層を介して前記負極と接している負極缶と、前記正極缶と前記負極缶とに挟持されるガスケットとからなるアルカリ電池。
- 前記正極が酸化銀もしくは二酸化マンガンを含む請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記錫被覆層が、前記負極缶の内面領域に形成された請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記負極缶が、ポリアニリンによる表面処理後に形成した錫被覆層を有する負極缶である請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記錫被覆層が、無電解メッキにより形成された錫被覆層である請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記錫被覆層の厚さが0.05μm以上5μm以下である請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記錫被覆層が、錫の融点(232℃)以上で熱処理した錫被覆層である請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記錫被覆層が、酸素濃度1%以下の雰囲気下で熱処理をした錫被覆層である請求項7に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記アルカリ電解液中に水酸化ナトリウムが15〜30mass%、又は水酸化カリウムが1〜15mass%含まれる請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記ガスケットの中央側突起部の外周部が前記負極缶の内面と接触する、若しくは、0.05mm以下の隙間である請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- ポリアニリンによる表面処理後に形成した錫被覆層を有するアルカリ電池に用いる負極缶。
- 負極缶をポリアニリンにより表面処理する第一工程と、前記負極缶に錫被覆層を形成する第二工程と、前記錫被覆層を錫の融点(232℃)以上で熱処理する第三工程と、正極と負極とセパレータとアルカリ電解液を包含した正極缶と負極缶をガスケットを挟持するように、かしめて封止する第四工程とからなるアルカリ電池の製造方法。
- 負極缶をポリアニリンにより表面処理する第一工程と、前記負極缶に錫被覆層を形成する第二工程とからなるアルカリ電池に用いる負極缶の製造方法。
- 前記第二工程後に、前記錫被覆層を錫の融点(232℃)以上で熱処理する第三工程を行う請求項13に記載のアルカリ電池に用いる負極缶の製造方法。
