Abstract
【解決手段】この放電灯点灯装置は、交流電圧を発生させるインバータ回路3、放電灯4の放電を開始する始動回路5、点灯を制御する点灯制御回路6などの点灯動作に必要な回路及び回路部品をケース10内に収納する。点灯動作に必要な回路が発熱の少ない制御部と発熱の大きいパワー部に別けて形成されると共に、制御部の回路を実装した制御部回路基板16とパワー部の回路を実装したパワー部回路基板17とが分離してケース10内に装着される。ケース10内の制御部回路基板16の上方に回路部品がバスバーケース11に取り付けられて配置される。パワー部回路基板17上に接続用パッド22が設けられ、その接続用パッド22とバスバーケース11に設けられたケース端子30間がワイヤを介して接続される。

Claims (6)
- 交流電圧を発生させるインバータ回路、放電灯の放電を開始する始動回路、及び点灯を制御する点灯制御回路などの点灯動作に必要な回路、並びに回路部品をケース内に収納した放電灯点灯装置において、
点灯動作に必要な回路が発熱の少ない制御部と発熱の大きいパワー部に別けて形成されると共に、該制御部の回路を実装した制御部回路基板と該パワー部の回路を実装したパワー部回路基板とが分離して該ケース内に装着され、該ケース内の少なくとも該制御部回路基板の上方に該回路部品がバスバーケースに取り付けられて配置され、該パワー部回路基板上にのみ接続用パッドが設けられ、該接続用パッドと該バスバーケースに設けられた端子間がワイヤを介して接続されていることを特徴とする放電灯点灯装置。 - 前記制御部回路基板が多層基板から形成され、ICを含む低発熱素子が該基板上に高密度に実装していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の放電灯点灯装置。
- 前記パワー部回路基板にはトランジスタを含む発熱素子が実装されると共に、複数の接続用パッドが前記バスバーケースの端子に近い区域にまとめて実装されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の放電灯点灯装置。
- 前記パワー部回路基板には小型化されたDC/DCコンバータ用のトランスが実装されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の放電灯点灯装置。
- 前記制御部回路基板とパワー部回路基板とが前記ケース内の底部に離隔して配置され、該両基板の端子部がワイヤボンディングを介して導通接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の放電灯点灯装置。
- スタータトランスが前記制御部回路基板及びパワー部回路基板の上方から離れた位置の前記バスバーケース内に取付けられ、高圧ケーブルが該両基板の上方から離れたバスバーケーブルの縁部を通って配設され、該スタータトランスの端子に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の放電灯点灯装置。
