Abstract
【解決手段】エチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体が、ポリマー構造指数をY、エチレン含有量をT(wt%)としたときに、Y≦1.1(0.48T−13.19)の関係を満たし、Y=20〜25のエチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体(A)とY=10〜15のエチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体(B)とを(A)/(B)=1〜40/99〜60、望ましくは1〜35/99〜65(数値はいずれもwt%)の比率でブレンドした未架橋ゴム組成物を発泡,架橋させた硬度55(A)以上のゴム組成物である。比重は1.1以下とする。

Description
上記のポリマー構造指数Yとは、粘弾性パラメータのことで、詳細は後述する。また、エチレン含有量Tとは、エチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体に含有されているエチレンの重量比率(wt%)をいう。ただし、共重合体(A)については、非共役ポリエンが含まれないエチレン−プロピレン共重合体を使用することも可能である。
・先に述べたEPDM(A)とEPDM(B)とを表1〜3に示すブレンド比率で混ぜたポリマー:100phr。
配合1におけるカーボンブラックの量を170phrに、軟化剤の量を45phrにそれぞれ変更(それ以外は配合1と同じ)。
配合1におけるカーボンブラックの量を170phrに、軟化剤の量を90phrにそれぞれ変更(それ以外は配合1と同じ)。
配合1におけるEPDM(B)90phrに低密度ポリエチレン(住友化学工業社製のスミカセンG804)(表3に記載)を10phr添加(それ以外は配合1と同じ)。
配合1におけるEPDM(B)75phrに低密度ポリエチレン(住友化学工業社製のスミカセンG804)(表3に記載)を25phr添加(それ以外は配合1と同じ)。
配合1におけるポリマーをPX049PE(三井化学社製)108phrに変更(表3に記載)。同時に、軟化剤(JOMO社製のプロセスオイルP−300)を62phrに変更(それ以外は配合1と同じ)。
Y:ポリマー構造指数
T:エチレン重量比率(wt%)
表1〜4におけるエチレン重量比率Tについては、ASTM D−6047に従い算出した。
周波数: 10.47rad/s
歪率: 6.98%
そして、測定によって得られた値を下記の式(2)に代入してXを求め、このXの値を式(3)に代入してポリマー構造指数Yを求めた。

但し、

Y:ポリマー構造指数

R:気体定数(8.314JK-1mol-1)
とする。
なお、図1における押出形状の各部の寸法は、a=6mm、b=2mm、c=11mm、d=11mm、e=3mm、f=7mm、g=7mm、h=4mmである。
表1〜4における右欄の目標値は、自動車用ウエザーストリップにおけるいわゆる従来のソリッドゴム相当部を成形するにあたり、機能上要求される目標値を示している。特に永久歪み(表1〜4では永久歪率(%)と記してある)についてはその目標値を40以下としているが、ウエザーストリップの機能を長期にわたって維持する上で上記目標値を充足することが重要である。
Claims (4)
- エチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体が、ポリマー構造指数をY、エチレン含有量をT(wt%)としたときに下記の式(1)の関係を満たし、
Y≦1.1(0.48T−13.19)‥‥(1)
Y=20〜25のエチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体(A)とY=10〜15のエチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体(B)とを(A)/(B)=1〜40/99〜60(数値はいずれもwt%)の比率でブレンドした未架橋ゴム組成物を発泡,架橋させた硬度55(A)以上のゴム組成物。 - エチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体(A)とエチレン−プロピレン−非共役ポリエン共重合体(B)のブレンド比率が(A)/(B)=1〜35/99〜65(数値はいずれもwt%)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゴム組成物。
- 比重が1.1以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のゴム組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のゴム組成物を素材とする自動車用ウエザーストリップ。
