Abstract
【解決手段】本発明による有機電界発光素子は、相互に一定間隔離隔されて配置された第1、2基板と;第1基板内部面にサブピクセル単位で形成された薄膜トランジスタを有するアレイ素子と;第2基板内部面に共通電極としての第1電極と、第1電極下部に位置する有機電界発光層及びサブピクセル別にパターン化された第2電極が次々と形成されて成り立った有機電界発光ダイオードと;アレイ素子及びこれに対応する有機電界発光ダイオードを電気的に連結する伝導性スペーサーが含まれて構成され、第1基板上にマトリックス形態で複数具備されたアレイ素子に電源を供給する電源ラインが網形状で構成される。

Claims (15)
- 相互に一定間隔離隔されて配置された第1、2基板と;
前記第1基板内部面にサブピクセル単位で形成された薄膜トランジスタを有するアレイ素子と;
前記第2基板内部面に共通電極としての第1電極と、前記第1電極下部に位置する有機電界発光層及びサブピクセル別にパターン化された第2電極が順次形成されて成る有機電界発光ダイオードと;
前記アレイ素子及びこれに対応する有機電界発光ダイオードを電気的に連結する伝導性スペーサーが含まれて構成され、前記第1基板上にマトリックス形態で複数具備された前記アレイ素子に電源を供給する電源ラインが網形状で構成されることを特徴とする有機電界発光素子。 - 前記アレイ素子は第1方向へのゲートラインと、前記第1方向と交差する第2方向へのデータラインによりその領域が定義されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記データラインと所定間隔離隔されて前記データラインと平行するように羅列された第1電源ラインと、
前記ゲートラインと所定間隔離隔されて前記ゲートラインと平行するように羅列された第2電源ラインが相互に交差するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機電界発光素子。 - 前記第1電源ラインと第2電源ラインは相互に交差する部位でコンタクトホールを介して電気的に連結されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記第1電源ラインは前記データラインと同一な層に、同一な材質の金属で形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記第2電源ラインは前記ゲートラインと同一な層に、同一な材質の金属で形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 第1電源ラインまたは第2電源ラインは低抵抗金属で形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記低抵抗金属は銅(Cu)であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 第1方向へのゲートラインと、前記第1方向と交差する第2方向へのデータラインによりその領域が定義されるアレイ素子がマトリックス形態で複数形成された第1基板と;
有機電界発光層が含まれた有機電界発光ダイオードが形成された第2基板と;
前記アレイ素子及びこれに対応する有機電界発光ダイオードを電気的に連結する伝導性スペーサーが含まれて構成され、
前記データラインと所定間隔離隔されて前記データラインと平行するように羅列された第1電源ラインと、前記ゲートラインと所定間隔離隔されて前記ゲートラインと平行するように羅列された第2電源ラインが相互に交差するように形成されることを特徴とする有機電界発光素子。 - 前記第1電源ラインと第2電源ラインは相互に交差する部位でコンタクトホールを介して電気的に連結されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記第1電源ラインは前記データラインと同一な層に、同一な材質の金属で形成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記第2電源ラインは前記ゲートラインと同一な層に、同一な材質の金属で形成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 第1電源ラインまたは第2電源ラインは低抵抗金属で形成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記低抵抗金属は銅(Cu)であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記ゲートラインとデータラインの交差部位に形成されたスイッチング薄膜トランジスタと;
前記スイッチング薄膜トランジスタ及び第1電源ラインと連結されるストレージキャパシターと;
前記ストレージキャパシター及び第1電源ラインと連結されており、前記有機電界発光ダイオードと電気的に連結される駆動薄膜トランジスタがさらに含まれることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の有機電界発光素子。
