Description
図3は本発明の第1実試例によるデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界発光素子に対するエンカプセレーションの断面構造である。
図4A、 4Bは本発明の第2実施例による有機電界発光素子に対する図面として、図4Aはパネル全体平面図で、図4Bはエンカプセレーション構造を中心に図示したパネル全体断面図として、有機電界発光ダイオード素子とアレイパッド間の連結構造を含んで図示した。
図5a乃至5cは本発明の第3実施例によるデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界発光素子の製造工程を段階別で現わした図面として、ダミースペイサー形成部の製造工程を中心に説明する。
図6は本発明の第4実施例によるデュアルパネルタイプの有機電界発光素子の平面図で、図7は図6の特定領域(III-III')に対する断面図である。
前記第4実施例では画面具現部とシールパターンまでの領域に第1ダミースペイサー等を形成して、前記シールパターン内部に第2ダミースペイサー等を形成して、前記第1ダミースペイサー等と第2ダミースペイサー等の稠密度を互いに異なるようにすることで、上、下板間の間隔を画面具現部内部と殆ど同じように維持して、第2ダミースペイサーはシールパターンの補強材の役目を遂行する有機電界発光素子を提供することにある。

Claims (7)
- 互いに対向されるように配置される第1、2基板と、
前記第1基板内部面に形成された薄膜トランジスターを持つマトリックス形態のアレイ素子と、前記各アレイ素子に対応される第2基板内部面に形成された有機電界発光ダイオード素子によって定義される画面具現部と、
前記画面具現部内に位置して、前記各アレイ素子及び有機電界発光ダイオード素子を連結して、前記第1、2基板の間隔を維持するようにする第1電気的連結パターンと、ここで、前記第1電気的連結パターンは前記第1基板から延伸してその最上部表面と前記第2電極が接続し、
前記第1、2基板を合着するために第1、2基板の端に形成されたシールパターンと、
前記画面具現部外部からシールパターンまでの領域に形成された多数の第1ダミースペイサーと、
前記シールパターン材料内に形成され、前記第1ダミースペイサーに比べてより稠密に形成された多数の第2ダミースペイサーが含まれことを特徴とするデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界発光素子。 - 前記第1ダミースペイサー及び第2ダミースペイサーはそれぞれ異なる稠密度を持って形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界発光素子。
- 前記第1電気的連結パターンは前記第1及び第2ダミーパターンスペイサーに比べてより稠密に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界
発光素子。 - 前記シールパターンはグラスファイバーが含まれないシーラントよりなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界発光素子。
- 第1、2基板を具備する段階と、
前記第1基板の上部アレイ領域上にサブピクセル別にスイッチング素子を持つアレイ素子を形成する段階と、
前記アレイ素子層上部に、前記薄膜トランジスターと連結され、前記第1基板から延伸する第1電気的連結パターンと、前記アレイパッド部の一つと第1電極を連結させる第2電気的連結パターンと、ここで、前記第2電気的連結パターンは前記第1基板から延伸してその最上部表面と前記第1電極が接続し、画面具現部以外の領域に形成された前記第1基板から延伸する第1ダミースペイサーと、互いに一定間隔を置くように第2ダミースペーサーを形成する段階と、ここで、前記第2ダミースペイサーは前記第1ダミースペイサーに比べより稠密に形成され、
前記第2基板上に投光性を持つ導電性物質で成り立った第1電極を形成する段階と、
前記第1電極上部に有機電界発光層を形成する段階と、
前記有機電界発光層上部にサブピクセル単位で第2電極を形成する段階と、
前記第1、2基板を前記第1及び第2電気的連結パターンで連結する段階と、
前記第1、2基板のある一つの基板の端部にシールパターンを形成して、第1、2基板を合着することにおいて画面具現部外部からシールパターンまでの領域に第1ダミースペイサーを形成して、前記シールパターン材料内に第2ダミースペイサーを形成する段階が含まれることを特徴とするデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界発光素子製造方法。 - 前記第1ダミースペイサー及び第2ダミースペイサーはそれぞれ異なる稠密度を持って形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記シールパターンはグラスファイバーが含まれないシーラントよりなることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のデュアルパネルタイプ有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
