Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明の自動車のステアリングホイール用エアバッグハウジングは、ステアリングホイールの振動を減衰する制振質量体として使用されるガス発生器を備え、このガス発生器とエアバッグハウジングが、ステアリングホイールの軸に沿って延伸している環状のゴム膜を有する中間部材を介して気密に結合されているエアバッグハウジングであって、ゴム膜(3)のエアバッグハウジング側の周縁部(6)に、エアバッグハウジングに接続するための円盤状の保持薄板(7)が設けられ、ゴム膜のガス発生器(1)側の周縁部(4)に、ガス発生器(1)を摩擦力による連結及び/又は形状による嵌め合い連結によって接続するための取付エレメント(5)が設けられていることを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- 自動車のステアリングホイール用エアバッグハウジングであって、当該ステアリングホイールの振動を減衰する制振質量体として使用されるガス発生器を備え、このガス発生器と当該エアバッグハウジングが、前記ステアリングホイールの軸に沿って延伸している環状のゴム膜を有する中間部材を介して気密に結合されているものにおいて、
前記ゴム膜(3)の前記エアバッグハウジング側の周縁部(6)に、前記エアバッグハウジングに接続するための円盤状の保持薄板(7)が設けられ、
前記ゴム膜(3)の前記ガス発生器(1)側の周縁部(4)に、前記ガス発生器(1)を摩擦力による連結及び/又は形状による嵌め合い連結によって接続するための取付エレメント(5)が設けられているエアバッグハウジング。 - 前記取付エレメント(5)が、前記ガス発生器(1)を取り囲む環状体からなる請求項1に記載のエアバッグハウジング。
- 前記環状体の下側縁部に、内側へ折り曲げられた屈曲部分(9)が設けられている請求項1又は2に記載のエアバッグハウジング。
- 前記環状体と前記ゴム膜(3)の高さ(H)が実質上同じである請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグハウジング。
- 前記保持薄板(7)に固定ねじ用の穴(10)が設けられている請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグハウジング。
- 前記ゴム膜(3)が、前記保持薄板(7)及び/又は前記取付エレメント(5)と加硫により結合されている請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグハウジング。
- 前記ゴム膜(3)が、前記保持薄板(7)の下側の表面(8)よりわずかに突出し、シール部材及び振動制限部材として利用される請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグハウジング。
