Abstract
【解決手段】 トラック内セクタ位置が論理セクタ番号LSNにより表される。情報ボリュームVOL1は、記録された情報ボリューム内の情報に対する探索を制御するための制御情報PT,DFを備え、この情報は、予定のフォーマットで配設される。この制御情報に対する参照符号VD1が、予定のアドレス領域(LSN=16〜LSN=SZ)内セクタに収容される。次のボリュームVOL2がトラック10内に記録される。各次の情報ボリュームは、該当ボリュームVOL2と先の記録ボリュームVOL1の両方の探索用の代用参照情報を持つ。代用参照情報は、再生可能代用アドレス領域(LSN=offs+16〜LSN=offs+SZ)内セクタに収容される。

Claims (10)
- 情報ボリュームがトラックのセクタに記録される記録担体であって、当該情報ボリュームは、記録された情報ボリューム内の情報に対する探索を制御するために用いられるようにされた制御情報を含み、所定のアドレス領域内の1個又は複数個のセクタが前記制御情報に対する参照符号を有する記録担体であって、
最初の情報ボリュームに接近して、その関連する次の情報ボリューム内の情報の探索を制御するために用いられるようにされた適合制御情報を有する次の情報ボリュームが少なくとも、当該トラックに記録され、
当該次の情報ボリュームが、再生可能な代用アドレス領域における1つ以上のセクタにおいて、当該情報ボリュームと、その関連する情報ボリュームに先行する少なくとも1個の情報ボリューム内との両方における情報の探索を制御するために用いられるようにされた制御情報に対する代用参照符号を有する、
記録担体。 - 前記代用アドレス領域の大きさは、当該トラックにおける前の情報ボリュームのアドレス領域の大きさと等しいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の記録担体。
- 前記情報ボリュームの前記代用アドレス領域のセクタのアドレスを参照させる参照情報は、各次の情報ボリュームの端部に記録されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の記録担体。
- 前記代用制御情報が記録される当該次の情報ボリュームのセクタのセクタアドレスを参照させる参照情報は、各情報ボリューム内に含まれるか、又は当該セクタは、必要に応じて記録されるべき次の情報ボリュームの代用制御情報を格納するために企図されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の記録担体。
- 情報ボリュームがトラックに記録される記録担体であって、前記情報ボリュームは、リードイン領域に記録されるリードイン信号と、前記リードイン領域に後続するプログラム領域に記録されるユーザデータと、前記情報ボリュームの端部を表し且つ前記プログラム領域に後続するリードアウト領域に記録されるリードアウト信号とを有する、記録担体であって、
少なくとも1個の他の情報ボリュームの当該トラックは、前記リードアウト領域に後続する領域に記録され、前記他の情報ボリュームは、他のプログラム領域に記録された他のユーザデータと前記他の情報ボリュームの端部を表し且つ前記他のプログラム領域に後続する他のリードアウト領域に記録された他のリードアウト信号とを有することを特徴とする記録担体。 - 前記他のユーザデータは、前記他のプログラム領域の所定アドレス領域に記録される制御情報を有し、前記他のリードアウト信号は、前記所定アドレスを参照させる参照情報を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の記録担体。
- 第1プログラム領域の所定アドレス領域に、第1情報ボリュームにおける探索を制御するために制御情報が記録され、前記他のプログラム領域の前記アドレス領域は、前記第1プログラム領域と前記他のプログラム領域との両方についての情報の探索を制御するのに用いるための制御情報を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の記録担体。
- トラックを有する記録担体であって、前記トラックのアドレス可能な部分に記録されたデータを有する第1情報ボリュームを有し、当該情報ボリュームは、その第1情報ボリューム内の情報の探索を制御するのに使用するための制御情報を含み、且つ前記トラックのアドレス可能な部分に記録されたデータを有する少なくとも1個の付加的情報ボリュームが前記第1情報ボリュームに隣接しており、各付加的情報ボリュームは、その付加的情報ボリューム内及び少なくとも1個のそれに先立つ情報ボリューム内の情報の探索を制御するのに用いるための制御情報を含むことを特徴とする記録担体。
- 少なくとも1個の付加的情報ボリュームにおいて、当該付加的情報の制御情報が記録されるアドレス可能部分を参照させるよう参照情報が記録されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の記録担体。
- 参照情報が各付加的情報ボリュームの端部に含まれていることを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載の記録担体。
