Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 (1)体上への医科的または外科的処置中使用するためのシステムであって、特定 の体要素に対する基準点がその特定の体要素に対して既知の空間的関係を有する ように、各体要素に対する基準点を有し、処置前にスキャナにより体について取 られるスキャンに基づいて、処置中1または複数の体要素の位置を表わすディス プレイを生成するものにおいて、 処置中、表示されるべき各体要素の基準点の位置を識別するための手段と、 該識別手段により識別されるところの、処置中の基準点の識別された位置にし たがって像データセットを変更するプロセッサであって、処置中の体要素(1ま たは複数)の位置および幾何形態を表示する変位された像データセットを生成す るプロセッサと、 プロセッサにより生成される変位された像データセットを利用して、処置中体 要素(1または複数)の位置および幾何形態を表示するディスプレイと を備えることを特徴とする医科または外科的処置中使用するためのシステム。 (2)医科または外科的機器、プローブまたは放射線投与システムと 処置中、1または複数の体要素に関する医科または外科的機器の位置を識別す るための手段 を備え、前記ディスプレイが、医科または外科的機器位置識別識別手段に応答し て、処置中、医科または外科的機器またはその焦点に関する体要素の相対位置を 表示する 請求項1記載の医科または外科的処置中使用するためのシステム。 (3)前記医科または外科的機器位置識別手段が、体要素に関する医科または外科 的機器の配向を決定し、 前記ディスプレイが体要素に関する医科または外科的機器の配向を表示する請 求項2記載の医科または外科的処置中使用するためのシステム。 (4)前記識別手段が、 体外に基準を提供するための位置を有する基準アレイと、 基準アレイに関する表示されるべき体要素の基準点の位置を決定するための手 段を備える 請求項1記載の医科または外科的処置中使用するためのシステム。 (5)基準アレイと通信する整合プローブを備え、 前記決定手段が、基準アレイに関する整合プローブ尖端の位置を決定するよう に適合されており、体要素の基準点の位置を整合プローブの尖端位置を各基準点 処置中、体要素を相互に固定関係に、基準フレームに関して既知の関係に維持 しながら体を移動でき、それにより各体要素の各基準点の相対位置を再度識別す ることなく、移動後体各要素の位置を決定し得る 請求項4記載の医学または外科的処置中使用するためのシステム。 (9)基準アレイがセンサを備え、 前記基準フレームが体要素の一つに取り付けられ、かつ基準アレイのセンサと 通信して、基準アレイに関する基準フレームの位置を指示する 請求項8記載の医科または外科的処置中使用するためのシステム。 (10)基準アレイがセンサを備え、 前記基準アレイが体要素の一つに取り付けられ、かつ基準フレームのセンサと 通信して、基準アレイに関する基準フレームの位置を指示する 請求項8記載の医科または外科的処置中使用するためのシステム。 (11)各体要素を定義する像データサブセットを作り出すことによって、像データ セットの体要素を弁別するための手段を備える 請求項1記載の医科または外科的処置中使用するためのシステム。 (12)前記プロセッサが、各像データサブセットを処置前の体要素の位置から処置 中の体要素の位置に変換し、変位されたデータセットを変換された像データサブ セットから構成する 処置中、表示されるべき各体要素の基準点の相対位置を識別し、 処置中の体要素の位置を表わす変位された像データセットを生成するために、 処置中各基準点の識別された相対位置にしたがって像データセットを変更し、 変位された像データセットに基づいて処置中体要素の相対位置を表示するディ スプレイを生成する 諸段階を含むことを特徴とする処置中使用するための方法。 (25)処置中の体要素の位置を表示する変位されたデータセットに基づくディスプ レイが、処置前に生成される像データセットに基づくディスプレイと実質的に同 じであるように、体要素の位置を再位置づけし、再位置づけ後の体要素の位置が 、像データセットが生成された処置前の体要素の位置と実質的に同じであるよう にする 請求項24記載の処置中使用するための方法。 (26)基準点が体要素の一部であり、そして 体要素の基準点の位置を整合プローブの尖端を各基準点に位置づけることによ って決定する ことを含む請求項28記載の処置中使用するための方法。 (30)体要素の一つと固定関係にある位置を有し、基準アレイと通信する基準フレ ームを用意し、 基準アレイに関する基準フレームの位置を決定し、処置中、体要素を相互にか つ基準フレームに対して固定関係に維持しながら体を移動でき、それにより各体 要素の各基準点の相対位置を再度識別することなく、移動後体各要素の位置を決 定し得る 請求項28記載の処置中使用するための方法。 (31)各体要素を定義する像データサブセットを作り出すことによって、像データ セットの体要素を弁別する ことを含む請求項24記載の処置中使用するための方法。 (32)各像データサブセットを処置前の体要素の位置から処置中の体要素の位置に 変換し、変位されたデータセットを変換された像データサブセットから構成する ことを含む31記載の処置中使用するための方法。 (33)処置中各体要素の輪郭の位置を決定し、 処置中の各体要素の輪郭の位置を、像データサブセットにより表示されるとこ ろの処置前の各体要素の輪郭の位置に比較する ことを含む請求項31記載の処置中使用するための方法。 (34)前記識別段階が、 蛍光透視管と該蛍光透視管と固定関係にある蛍光透視板との間に体要素を位置 づけ、 蛍光透視管を付勢して、蛍光透視板上に各体要素の投射を生成し、 処置中各体要素の蛍光透視投射の相対位置を決定し、 処置中の各体要素の蛍光透視投射により表わされる位置を処置前の体要素の相 対位置に比較する ことを含む請求項24記載の処置中使用するための方法。 (35)各々基準点を有する2またはそれ以上の体要素と使用するための方法であっ て、処置前に、 体要素をそれらの相対位置を固定するためにフレームに配置し、 固定された体要素を走査し、 処置中、 体要素が走査中のそれらの位置と同じ相対位置を有するように、体要素を前記 フレームに配置し、 基準手段に関する体要素上の基準点の位置を決定し、 基準手段に関する医科または外科的機器の位置を決定し、 体要素に関する医科または外科的機器の位置を決定し、 処置前の走査に基づき、体要素に関する医科または外科的機器の決定された位 置を表示するディスプレイを生成する 諸段階を含むことを特徴とする体要素と使用するための方法。 (36)フレームを体要素を動かすように賦活でき、そして 処置中の体要素の相対位置を決定し、 処置中の体要素の相対位置が処置前の走査中の体要素の相対位置に対応するよ 前記ダイオードに接続され、ダイオードを賦活するための信号を供給するため の賦活回路と、 前記ベース部材のキャビティ内に位置づけられ、電源と発光ダイオードを電気 的に相互接続し、ダイオードを賦活するための信号を伝送するためのワイヤとを 備えることを特徴とする外科用案内システムと使用するためのデバイス。 (42)当該デバイスと通信してその位置を識別するセンサアレイを有する外科用案 内システムと使用するためのデバイスであって、体部位に関して基地の基準を提 供するように体部位に取りつけられた構造体または体部位に既知の関係にある機 器と係合し、外科用案内システムに接続されデバイスを賦活する信号を供給する ためのケーブルと係合するためのコネクタを有するものにおいて、 キャビティを有するベース部材と、 該ベース部材上にあって、体部位に固定関係でベース部材を維持して固定の基 準を提供するため、前記構造体と係合する結合部と、 作動されるとき、外科用案内システムのセンサアレイと通信するための光を放 射する複数の発光ダイオードと、 前記ベース部材に取り付けられ、前記外科用案内システムに接続されされたケ ーブルと係合するように適合され、ダイオードを賦活するための信号を受信する コネクタと、 前記ベース部材のキャビティ内に位置づけられ、前記コネクタと発光ダイオー ドを電気的に相互接続し、ダイオードを賦活するためコネクタにより受信される 信号をダイオードに伝送するためのワイヤと を備えることを特徴とする外科用案内システムと使用するためのデバイス。 (43)前記ベース部材がアーク状部材であり、 前記結合部が患者の頭に係合するように適合されたMayfieldクランプのような ヘッドクランプと係合するための取付け具より成る 該センサアレイと通信して、その位置を識別する基準フレームと、 前記センサアレイと通信して、当該局所化フレームの位置を識別するための局 所化フレームであって、体部位と係合するための機器を体部位に関して既知の位 置に位置づけるように機器を案内し、局所化フレームを賦活するための信号を供 給するコントローラに接続されている局所化フレームと を備えることを特徴とする外科用案内システム。 (54)前記基準フレームが、 キャビティを有するベース部材と、 作動されるとき、外科用案内システムのセンサアレイと通信するための光を放 射する複数の発光ダイオードと、 前記ダイオードに接続され、ダイオードを賦活する信号を供給するための賦活 回路と、 前記ベース部材のキャビティ内に位置づけられ、電源と発光ダイオードを電気 的に相互接続し、ダイオードを賦活する信号を伝送するためのワイヤ を備える請求項53記載の外科用案内システム。 (55)前記局所化フレームが、 キャビティを有するハウジングと、 該ハウジング上にあって、前記機器をハウジングに関して所定の関係に維持す るため機器を案内するための構造体と、 作動されるとき、外科用案内システムのセンサアレイと通信するための光を放 射する複数の発光ダイオードと、 前記ハウジングに取り付けられ、外科用案内システムに接続されたケーブルと 係合するように適合され、ダイオードを賦活する信号を受信するコネクタと、 前記ハウジングのキャビティ内に位置づけられ、前記コネクタと発光ダイオー ドを電気的に相互接続し、ダイオードを賦活するためコネクタにより受信される 信号をダイオードに伝送するためのワイヤ を備える請求項53記載の外科用案内システム。
