Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.スチレンを、必要によりこのスチレンの20重量%のコモノマーと共に、グ ラファイト粒子の存在下に懸濁水性液中で重合させ、そして発泡剤を、上記重合 前、重合中若しくは重合後に添加することを特徴とする発泡性スチレン重合体の 製造方法。 2.上記重合を、スチレン重合体に対して0.05〜25重量%のグラファイト の存在下に行う請求項1に記載の方法。 3.懸濁重合を、難燃剤として有機臭素化合物の存在下に行う請求項1に記載の 方法。 4.懸濁重合において、ポリスチレンのスチレン溶液を用いる請求項1に記載の 方法。 5.ポリスチレンのスチレン溶液を、0.5〜30重量%、好ましくは5〜20 重量%の濃度で用いる請求項4に記載の方法。 6.ポリスチレンとして、発泡性ポリスチレンの過大サイズ及び/又は過小サイ ズ部分を用いる請求項4に記載の方法。 7.スチレンを、0.5〜70%の転化率まで予備重合させ、そして得られたプ レポリマーをグラファイト粒子と共に水層に移動させる請求項1に記載の方法。 8.グラファイト粒子がスチレン重合体中に均一に分布し、且つスチレン重合体 が0.2〜2mmの平均直径を有する丸いビーズ状である、0.05〜25重量 %のグラファイトを含有する発泡性スチレン重合体粒子。 9.密度が5〜35g/Lのフォームを製造するための、請求項8に記載の発泡 性スチレン重合体粒子の使用。
