- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.半径方向膨張の前後でほぼ円筒状輪郭を持ち、身体管腔内に外科的 に挿入するための、半径方向膨張可能で軸方向にほとんど収縮しないステントに おいて、 少なくとも3個の円周要素が設けられ、各円周要素は前記円筒状輪郭を描くよ うに一周する細長い形状とされ、第1の円周要素は前記ステントの第1の端部を 形成し、第2の円周要素は前記ステントの第2の端部を形成し、 各前記円周要素は、この要素が前記ステントの前記円筒状輪郭を描くように波 形状の連続する湾曲部を持ち、 各前記湾曲部は谷部と山部を持ち、前記谷部は円周要素にこの円周要素の他の 部分よりも隣接する円周要素から遠い部分を形成し、前記山部は円周要素にこの 円周要素の他の部分よりも隣接する円周要素に近い部分を形成し、 2個の端部を持つ少なくとも1個の軸方向要素が、少なくとも1対の隣接する 円周要素間に配置され、この軸方向要素の各前記端部は前記1対の隣接する円周 要素の異なる側にそれぞれ取り付けられてこの1対の円周要素間を連結し、 前記軸方向要素の各前記端部は、前記谷部の1つにおいて前記円周要素の隣接 する1つに取り付けられ、 それによって、前記軸方向要素は前記ステントの半径方向膨張時にこのステン トの軸方向収縮を防止する ことを特徴とするステント 2.前記軸方向要素は、その前記端部間で直線状に細長く形成され、前 記ステントの前記円筒状輪郭の中心軸に平行に配置されている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載のステント。 3.前記円周要素は、前記谷部の1つと前記山部の1つとの間の軸方向 距離によって定義される振幅を持ち、各前記円周要素は、ギャップによって隣接 する円周要素から離され、前記ギャップは、隣接する前記円周要素の山部が互い に最も接近する最小幅と、隣接する前記円周要素の谷部が互いに最も離れる最大 幅を持ち、各前記軸方向要素は、前記振幅と前記最小幅の合計に等しい長さを持 つ ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項記載のステント。 4.全ての前記円周要素において、隣接する円周要素に対向する各谷部 には、軸方向要素が配置されてこの谷部に取り付けられている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載のステント。 5.前記ステントは、2つの連結端を持つ少なくとも1個の連結要素を 有し、この連結要素は、少なくとも1対の隣接する円周要素間に配置され、各前 記連結端は、前記1対の隣接する円周要素の異なる側にそれぞれ取り付けられて この1対の円周要素間を連結し、各前記連結端は、前記谷部の一つにおいて前記 円周要素に取り付けられている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載のステント。 6.前記連結要素は、前記ステントを形成する幾つかの隣接する前記円 周要素間のギャップ内に配置され、前記軸方向要素は、前記ステントを形成する 幾つかの隣接する前記円周要素間のギャップ内に配置され、各前記ギャップ内に は、少なくとも一つの要素が配置されて、そのギャップに隣接する前記円周要素 同士を互いに取り付け、前記ギャップには、前記連結要素が一つ置きのギャップ 毎に配置されかつ前記軸方向要素が一つ置きのギャップ毎に配置される形の交互 するパターンでそれらの要素が設けられている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項記載のステント。 7.各前記ギャップ内には同じ要素のみが配置されており、その中に前 記軸方向要素が配置された各前記ギャップは、その中に前記連結要素が配置され た各前記ギャップ内の連結要素の数よりも大きな数の軸方向要素を有する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第6項記載のステント。 8.各前記連結要素は、この連結要素が前記ギャップを横切るようにし て、隣接する前記円周要素の前記山部間に伸びる曲線を描くようにアーチ状に形 成されている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項記載のステント。 9.各前記連結要素は、屈曲部によって互いに連結された第1のアーム と第2のアームを持つように折り曲げられており、前記第1のアームは、前記連 結要素が配置された前記ギャップの片側の前記円周要素の前記山部の1つに取り 付けられ、前記第2のアームは、前記連結要素が配置された前記ギャップの反対 側の前記円周要素の前記山部の1つに取り付けられ、前記連結要素は、前記ステ ントの中心軸を曲げるようにして前記屈曲部を中心として曲がる手段を有する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項記載のステント。 10.各前記山部は、各前記円周要素が一定の振幅を持つように、各前 記谷部から軸方向に同じ距離だけ離して配置されている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載のステント。 11.各前記谷部と各前記山部は、少なくとも前記ステントが半径方向 に膨張していない場合には球根状であり、それによって、一つの前記円周要素の 隣接する前記山部間の前記ギャップ内には、このギャップの片側に横スロットが 設けられ、このギャップの両側の2個の前記円周要素の隣接する前記谷部間の幅 は、最初に減少しており、次に、前記横スロットが前記ギャップの中心から前記 円周要素に向かって広がるのに伴って増大するようになっている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第10項記載のステント。 12.各前記円周要素は、前記ステントの前記円筒状輪郭の中心軸に直 交する直線状の谷部と、前記中心軸に直交しかつ前記円周要素の振幅だけ前記谷 部から軸方向に離された直線状の山部と、前記谷部および前記山部と平行でなく かつ各谷部を隣接する各山部に連結する変曲部、を含む連続する直線状部分から 形成されている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載のステント。 13.前記ステントの前記第1の端部を形成する前記第1の円周要素と 前記ステントの前記第2の端部を形成する前記第2の円周要素の各々は、画像装 置によって目視した場合に、前記ステントの他の部分を形成する材料よりも不透 明となる手段を持つ材料でその全部が形成されている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載のステント。 14.身体管腔内に挿入するための、円筒状輪郭を持ち、半径方向膨張 可能な外科用ステントにおいて、 複数の円周要素が設けられ、各円周要素は前記ステントの前記円筒状輪郭を一 周しており、 前記複数の円周要素の少なくとも2個は、少なくとも1つの谷部と少なくとも 1つの山部を含む波形状を持ち、この波形状円周要素が前記ステントの前記円筒 状輪郭を描いており、 2個の隣接する前記円周要素間に少なくとも1個の軸方向要素が配置され、こ の軸方向要素は、第1の接合部において前記隣接する円周要素の一方に取り付け られ、第2の接合部において前記隣接する円周要素の他方に取り付けられ、 前記第1の接合部は前記山部から間隔を空けて配置され、前記第2の接合部は 前記山部から間隔を空けて配置されている ことを特徴とする外科用ステント。 15.前記複数の円周要素は、前記ステントの前記第1の端部に配置さ れた第1の端部波形状円周要素と、前記ステントの前記第2の端部に配置された 第2の端部波形状円周要素と、少なくとも1個の中間円周要素を含む、少なくと も3個の円周要素を含み、 前記ステントは、少なくとも1個の第1の端部軸方向要素と少なくとも1個の 第2の端部軸方向要素を含む少なくとも2個の軸方向要素を含み、前記第1の端 部軸方向要素は、前記第1の端部波形状円周要素中の前記谷部の1つに取り付け られ、前記第2の端部軸方向要素は、前記第2の端部波形状円周要素中の前記谷 部の1つに取り付けられている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第14項記載のステント。 16.各前記円周要素は、前記波形状を有する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項記載のステント。 17.各前記円周要素には、前記第1の接合部を介してその谷部に取り 付けられ、前記第2の接合部を介して隣接する前記円周要素の谷部に取り付けら れた、少なくとも1個の前記軸方向要素が設けられている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第16項記載のステント。 18.各前記中間円周要素は、前記第1の端部波形状円周要素に対向す る第1の側面と、前記第2の端部波形状円周要素に対向する第2の側面を持ち、 前記第1の側面と前記第2の側面の少なくとも1つの谷部には、前記軸方向要素 の1つが取り付けられており、この軸方向要素はまた、少なくとも1個の隣接す る前記円周要素の谷部にも取り付けられている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第17項記載のステント。 19.各前記中間円周要素は、前記第1の端部波形状円周要素に対向す る第1の側面と、前記第2の端部波形状円周要素に対向する第2の側面を持ち、 一方の前記側面の少なくとも1つの谷部には、前記軸方向要素の1つが取り付け られ、この軸方向要素はまた、少なくとも1個の隣接する前記円周要素の谷部に も取り付けられており、他方の前記側面の少なくとも1つの山部には、連結要素 が取り付けられており、この連結要素はまた、隣接する前記円周要素の山部にも 取り付けられている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第17項記載のステント。 20.収縮しない端部によって特徴付けられ、円筒状輪郭を持ち、管腔 内で半径方向膨張可能な外科用ステントにおいて、 前記ステントの前記円筒状輪郭を一周する第1の端部円周要素と、 前記ステントの前記円筒状輪郭を一周する第2の端部円周要素と、 前記ステントの前記円筒状輪郭を一周する少なくとも1個の中間円周要素とが 設けられ、 前記第1の端部円周要素と前記第2の端部円周要素は、少なくとも1つの谷部 と少なくとも1つの山部を含む波形状を持ち、この波形状円周要素が前記ステン トの前記円筒状輪郭を描いており、 前記中間円周要素のうち前記第1の端部円周要素に隣接する1個の中間円周要 素とその第1の端部円周要素との間には、少なくとも1個の第1の端部軸方向要 素が配置され、この第1の端部軸方向要素は、前記第1の端部円周要素中の前記 谷部の1つに接続されると共に、前記隣接する中間円周要素に接続され、 前記中間円周要素のうち前記第2の端部円周要素に隣接する1個の中間円周要 素とその第2の端部円周要素との間には、少なくとも1個の第2の端部軸方向要 素が配置され、この第2の端部軸方向要素は、前記第2の端部円周要素中の前記 谷部の1つに接続されると共に、前記隣接する中間円周要素に接続されているこ とを特徴とする外科用ステント。
