Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 気体成分が異なる分圧を有する2種の流体間で前記気体成分を輸送する方 法であって、 前記2種の流体の内少なくとも1種が液体であり、 前記2種の流体の内の一方の流体を、(i)前記液体に対して実質的に不透 過性であり、かつ、少なくとも1×107Pa(100bar)の酸素に対して透過性 を有し、(ii)パーフルオロ−2,2−ジメチル−1,3−ジオキソールの非晶質共 重合体から形成されており、かつ、(iii)前記非晶質共重合体のガラス転移点未 満の温度にあることを特徴とする2側面型膜ユニットの第1の側面に接触させ、 同時に前記2側面型膜ユニットの第2の側面を前記2種の流体の他方の流 体と接触させることを特徴とする方法。 2. 上記他方の流体が気体状態にあることを特徴とする請求の範囲1記載の方 法。 3. 上記他方の流体の気体成分の分圧が、上記液体の気体成分の分圧より高い ことを特徴とする請求の範囲2記載の方法。 4. 上記他方の流体の気体成分の分圧が、上記液体の気体成分の分圧より低い ことを特徴とする請求の範囲2記載の方法。 5. 上記膜ユニットが、更に、上記膜を構造的に支持する基体手段を有し、前 記基体手段は上記膜の一方の側面に全面にわたって固定されており、かつ、上記 膜の上記第2の側面に対して反対の表面を有し ていることを特徴とする請求の範囲1記載の方法。 6. 上記基体手段が孔開きシート、多孔性織布、単一の微孔性有機フィルム、 及び、微孔性中空繊維の群から選ばれたものであることを特徴とする請求の範囲 5記載の方法。 7. 上記膜ユニットが中空繊維であることを特徴とする請求の範囲6記載の方 法。 8. 上記液体が上記膜の上記第2の側面と接触していることを特徴とする請求 の範囲5記載の方法。 9. 双方の液体が液体であり、かつ、上記膜ユニットが更に、上記基材手段の 上記表面の全面にわたって固定されている第2の非多孔性の膜を有し、上記第2 の膜が、(i)上記液体に対して実質的に不透過性であり、かつ、少なくとも1× 107Pa(100bar)の酸素に対して透過性を有し、(ii)パーフルオロ−2,2 −ジメチル−1,3−ジオキソールの非晶質共重合体から形成されており、かつ 、(iii)上記非晶質共重合体のガラス転移点未満の温度にあることを特徴とする 請求の範囲8記載の方法。 10. 上記2種の流体の圧力差が維持されることを特徴とする請求の範囲5記載 の方法。 11. 上記圧力差が少なくとも34.5Kpaであることを特徴とする請求の範 囲10記載の方法。 12. 上記圧力差が少なくとも69Kpaであることを特徴とする請求の範囲1 1記載の方法。 13. 上記第2の流体が気体状であることを特徴とする請求の範囲10記載の方 法。 14. 上記液体の圧力が上記第2の流体の圧力より少なくとも34.5Kpa高 いことを特徴とする請求の範囲13記載の方法。 15. 上記気体成分が、単一元素からなる気体類、炭化水素類、ハロゲン化炭化 物、ハロゲン化炭化水素類、並びに、亜硝酸ガス、二酸化炭素、オゾン、硫化水 素、アンモニア、亜硫酸ガス、一酸化酸素、ホスゲン及びこれらの混合物の全て から選ばれたものであることを特徴とする請求の範囲2記載の方法。 16. 上記気体成分が、酸素、オゾン、一酸化炭素、二酸化炭素、亜硫酸ガス及 びそれらの混合物の群から選ばれた酸素含有物であることを特徴とする請求の範 囲15記載の方法。 17. 上記気体成分が酸素であることを特徴とする請求の範囲16記載の方法。 18. 上記気体成分が、酸素/オゾン、オゾン/窒素、及び、酸素/窒素/オゾ ンから成る群から選ばれた混合物であることを特徴とする請求の範囲16記載の 方法。 19. 上記非晶質共重合体がパーフルオロ−2,2−ジメチル−1,3−ジオキソ ールと、残りの分量がテトラフルオロエチレン、パーフルオロメチルビニルエー テル、フッ化ビニリデン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン、及び、クロロトリフルオ ロエチレンとから成る群から選ばれた少なくとも一つのモノマーとから成る共重 合体であることを特徴とする請求の範囲1記載の方法。 20. 上記非晶質共重合体がパーフルオロ−2,2−ジメチル−1,3−ジオキソ ールとテトラフルオロエチレンとの二重合体であることを特徴とする請求の範囲 19記載の方法。 21. 上記二重合体が50〜95モル%の重合化したパーフルオロ−2,2−ジ メチル−1,3−ジオキソールを有することを特徴とする請求の範囲20記載の 方法。 22. 上記非晶質共重合体が少なくとも115℃のガラス転移温度を有すること を特徴とする請求の範囲1記載の方法。 23. 上記膜が、少なくとも2×107Pa(200bar)の酸素に対する透過性を 有することを特徴とする請求の範囲1記載の方法。 24. 上記膜が、少なくとも5×107Pa(500bar)の酸素に対する透過性を 有することを特徴とする請求の範囲23記載の方法。 25. 上記液体が生体の体液であることを特徴とする請求の範囲3記載の方法。 26. 上記生体の体液が生きた細胞を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲25記載 の方法。 27. 上記生体の体液が血液であることを特徴とする請求の範囲26記載の方法。 28. 上記液体が、水、水溶液、及び、水分散液からなる群から選ばれたもので あることを特徴とする請求の範囲3記載の方法。 29. 血液中の酸素の分圧が低い血液を酸素化する方法であって、 血液を、(i)血液に対して実質的に不透過性であり、かつ、少なくとも1 ×107Pa(100bar)の酸素に対して透過性を有し、(ii)パーフルオロ−2, 2−ジメチル−1,3−ジオキソールの非晶質共重合体から形成されており、か つ、(iii)前記非晶質共重合体のガラス転移点未満の温度であることを特徴とす る2側面型膜ユニットの第1の側面に接触させ、かつ、 同時に前記2側面型膜ユニットの第2の側面を酸素含有量の少ない血液中 の酸素分圧を超える分圧で気体含有混合物と接触させることを特徴とする方法。 30. バイオリアクターにおいて、生きた細胞を有し、かつ、低い酸素分圧を有 する液体反応媒体を酸素化する方法であって、 前記液体反応媒体を、(i)前記液体反応媒体に対して実質的に不透過性で あり、かつ、少なくとも1×107Pa(100bar)の酸素に対して透過性を有し 、(ii)パーフルオロ−2,2−ジメチル−1,3−ジオキソールの非晶質共重合体 から形成されており、かつ、(iii)前記非晶質 共重合体のガラス転移点未満の温度にあることを特徴とする2側面型膜ユニット の第1の側面に接触させ、かつ、 同時に前記2側面型膜ユニットの第2の側面を前記低い酸素分圧を超える 分圧で酸素を含有する気体混合物と接触させることを特徴とする方法。 31. 上記液体が気体状の上記気体成分を含まないことを特徴とする請求の範囲 3記載の方法。
