Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 内部空洞を画定する壁構造を含む本体であって、本体は近位端部及び遠 位端部を有し、前記近位端部は、送出端部を介して流体を移動する医療用具の送 出端部の先端を受け入れることができる十分大きい開口部を有する前記本体と、 前記空洞内に含まれた先端を有するスパイクであって、前記先端より遠 位に設けた少なくとも1個の穴、及び流体が前記スパイクを通って流れることが 可能な穴と連通した通路を有する前記スパイクと、 前記スパイクを取り巻く前記空洞内の弾性密封手段であって、医療用具 の先端を前記開口部に挿入することにより、前記密封手段は加圧状態に動くよう に調節され、医療用具の先端を前記開口部から除去することにより、前記密封手 段は減圧状態に戻ることができるように十分に弾力性を有し、前記密封手段は前 記穴より近位に前記スパイクと接触した少なくとも2個のタイヤを具備し、前記 密封手段が減圧状態のとき、前記弁を通って流体が流れるのを防止する密封手段 とを含む医療用弁。 2.前記流体が、第1の低圧を前記密封手段に働かせ、更に、前記流体が第2 の高圧を前記密封手段に働かせたとき、少なくとも1個の補足的タイヤが前記ス パイクと前記穴より近位で接触することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.弁は近位端部及び遠位端部を具備する内部空洞を有する本体であって、前 記近位端部は、送出端部を介して流体を移動する医療用具の送出端部の先端を受 け入れることができるほど十分大きい開口部を有する本体と、前記空洞内のスパ イクであって、前記スパイクはその近位端部にスパイク先端を具備し、且つ流体 が前記スパイクを通って流れることができるように前記スパイク先端より遠位に 少なくとも1個の穴を具備するスパイクと、前記本体と前記スパイクの間に前記 本体の前記空洞内の弾性密封手段であって、前記密封手段が減圧状態のときに、 流体が前記弁を通って流れるのを防止するために、前記穴より近位で前記スパイ クと接触した少なくとも1個のタイヤを具備する前記密封手段とを含み、且つ (a)医療用具の先端を前記本体の近位端部の前記開口部に挿入する工 程と、 (b)医療用具に力を加えることによって前記密封手段を遠位方向に加 圧する工程と、 (c)前記穴及び前記医療用具を流体連通させる工程と、 (d)前記医療用弁を介して流体を移動させる工程と、 (e)前記医療用具を前記開口部から除去する工程と、 (f)前記タイヤを前記穴より近位で前記スパイクと接触させ、その結 果、前記弁を通って流体が流動するのを防止する工程とを含む医療用弁を通って 流体を移動させる方法。 4.工程(f)が工程(e)の後で実施されることを特徴とする請求項3に記 載の方法。 5.工程(f)が少なくとも2個のタイヤを前記穴より近位で前記スパイクと 接触させることを含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。 6.工程(f)で、前記流体が第1の低圧を前記密封手段に働かせることを特 徴とし、前記方法は、 (g)少なくとも更に1個のタイヤが前記穴より近位で前記スパイクと 接触することを特徴とし、前記流体が、第2の高圧を前記密封手段に働かせるこ とを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
