ステムへ十分貢献できるネットワークカメラ監視システ
ムを提供する。 【解決手段】 本発明は、セキュリテイシステムを補完
するためのネットワークカメラ監視システムであって、
アラームの発生を検出する鍵となる動き検出手段10を持
つ複数の回転台付き、又はマイク付きカメラ部１と、パ
ソコン又は専用表示端末で構成される蓄積部３と、パソ
コン又は専用表示端末で構成される表示部４と、アドレ
ス管理などのための管理サーバ５とをネットワーク２を
介して結合するようにして構成し、アラームの発生を検
出してカメラ部１内のメモリに記憶した画像データを表
示部４に転送するようにする。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明はネットワークカメラ
監視システムに関し、特に複数の監視機能付きカメラサ
イトをネットワークに接続して、ネットワークのトラヒ
ック状態をみながら表示部に転送しうるよう構成したも
のである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来のネットワークカメラ監視システム
は、図５に示されるように、カメラ部51と、同軸ケーブ
ルなどからなるネットワーク52と、ＶＴＲ、ＰＤ、ＤＶ
Ｄ等からなる蓄積部53と、モニターＴＶなどからなる表
示部54とから構成されており、カメラ部51が撮ったアナ
ログ画像情報そのものをベタ取り画像情報としてネット
ワーク(同軸ケーブル)52を介して画像情報の蓄積手段53
としてのＶＴＲ、ＰＤ、ＤＶＤ等で全部保存している
が、前記蓄積手段53の記憶容量に限りがあるので、ネッ
トワークカメラ監視システムとしてセキュリティシステ
ムへの貢献度は十分であるとはいい難い点があった。ま
た、アラーム情報についても、アラームの発生と同時に
ネットワーク52を介して画像情報として上記したＶＴ
Ｒ、ＰＤ、ＤＶＤ等に記録させていたが、ネットワーク
のトラヒックによっては同時性が担保されないという課
題があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】そこで、本発明は上記
の問題点を解消し、ネットワークの特性を考慮しつつ、
カメラサイトのデータ保持時間、ネットワークへの転送
方法、転送タイミングを工夫することによって、セキュ
リティシステムへ十分貢献できるネットワークカメラ監
視システムを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記課題を解決するため
に、本発明はセキュリテイシステムを補完するためのネ
ットワークカメラ監視システムであって、アラームの発
生を検出する鍵となる動き検出手段を持つ複数の回転台
付き、又はマイク付きカメラ部と、パソコン又は専用表
示端末で構成される蓄積部と、パソコン又は専用表示端
末で構成される表示部と、アドレス管理などのための管
理サーバとをネットワークを介して結合するようにして
構成したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】本発明の請求項１に記載の発明
は、セキュリテイシステムを補完するためのネットワー
クカメラ監視システムであって、動き検出手段を持つ複
数の回転台付き、又はマイク付きカメラ部と、パソコン
又は専用表示端末で構成される蓄積部と、パソコン又は
専用表示端末で構成される表示部と、アドレス管理など
のための管理サーバとをネットワークを介して結合する
ようにして構成したことを特徴とするネットワークカメ
ラ監視システムとしたものであり、信頼性のおけるネッ
トワーク監視カメラシステムを提供することができると
いう作用を有する。
【０００６】また、本発明の請求項２に記載の発明は、
前記カメラ部は画像データを逐次記憶するためのメモリ
を有するとともに前記ネットワークのトラヒックを監視
するトラヒック監視手段を有しており、該トラヒック監
視手段は、トラヒックが多い場合には、緊急且つ必要な
画像データのみを又はデータとして音声と映像を同時に
送る場合には音声を映像に優先させて前記表示部に送
り、またトラヒックが少ない場合には、画像情報の詳細
を前記表示部に送るようにしたことを特徴とする請求項
１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視システムとしたもの
であり、トラヒックを監視して画像データの転送量を可
変できるという作用又は音声を映像に優先させて表示部
に送ることができるという作用を有する。
【０００７】また、本発明の請求項３に記載の発明は、
前記動き検出手段による動き検出をトリガに、前記メモ
リに記憶しておいてデータを外部のセンサ入力で条件間
引きして転送することを特徴とする請求項１に記載のネ
ットワークカメラ監視システムとしたものであり、外部
のセンサ入力で条件間引きして転送することができると
いう作用を有する。
【０００８】また、本発明の請求項４に記載の発明は、
アラームの発生した内容が誤報と人間が判断してもデー
タ的には削除せず、マークを付けて検索対象から外し、
人為的、作為的のデータ消去を防ぐようにしたことを特
徴とする請求項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視シス
テムとしたものであり、アラームの発生した内容がもし
も誤報であっても人為的、作為的のデータ消去を防ぐよ
うにすることができるという作用を有する。
【０００９】また、本発明の請求項５に記載の発明は、
アラームの発生時には、時間、カメラごとの設置場所情
報、回転台付きカメラのポジション情報、アラーム発生
事由を収得し、それを前記メモリに記憶するとともに、
前記ネットワークを介して表示部に転送することを特徴
とする請求項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視システ
ムとしたものであり、従来よりも詳細なアラーム情報を
収得することができるという作用を有する。
【００１０】また、本発明の請求項６に記載の発明は、
前記カメラ部に、あらかじめ指定した一定以上の音声入
力があった場合、アラーム出力として出力する手段と、
その出力を行なうか否かを選択できる手段を有したこと
を特徴とする請求項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視
システムとしたものであり、一定以上の音声入力があっ
た場合にアラームを出力するか否かを選択して出力する
ことができるという作用を有する。
【００１１】また、本発明の請求項７に記載の発明は、
前記カメラ部のＣＣＤの電荷蓄積時間を制御することに
よって、夜間感度を上げる長時間蓄積モードに設定する
ネットワーク伝送部が管理し、映像出力レベルと前記Ｃ
ＣＤの電荷蓄積時間の制御に応じて、同じデータをネッ
トワークに送出しないことを特徴とする請求項１に記載
のネットワークカメラ監視システムとしたものであり、
ネットワークに送出するデータ量を減らすことができる
という作用を有する。
【００１２】以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面
に基づき説明する。本発明は、セキュリテイシステムを
補完するためのネットワークカメラ監視システムであ
り、基本的には、動き検出手段を持つ複数の回転台付
き、又はマイク付きカメラ部と、パソコン又は専用表示
端末で構成される蓄積部と、パソコン又は専用表示端末
で構成される表示部と、必要があればアドレス管理など
のための管理サーバとをイーサネット等のネットワーク
（ＬＡＮ、公衆網でもよい）を介して結合するようにし
て構成されるものである。
【００１３】図１は、本発明の実施の形態におけるネッ
トワークカメラ監視システムの概要構成を示すものであ
る。図１において、ネットワークカメラ監視システム
は、複数のカメラ部１と、ネットワーク２と、パソコン
又は専用表示端末などからなる蓄積部３と、同じくパソ
コン又は専用表示端末などからなる表示部４と、ネット
ワークドメインなどのアドレス管理をするための管理サ
ーバ５とから構成されている。
【００１４】図２は、図１のカメラ部１をより細分化
し、図１よりも詳細なネットワークカメラ監視システム
の構成を示すものである。図２において、カメラ部１は
複数設けられるとともに、各カメラ部１（図３参照）に
は画像データを記憶するメモリ（図３参照）と動き検出
部10が内蔵されている。図示していないが、各カメラ部
は回転台付き、又はマイク付きで構成されており、カメ
ラの回転方向の制御、音声の収録などを適宜実施できる
ようにする。図２においては、カメラ部１は、直接ネッ
トワーク２に結合されるもの、コントロールボックス11
を経由してネットワーク２に結合されるもの、更にコン
トロールボックス11とアラーム画像サーバ12を経由して
ネットワーク２に結合されるものが示されている。
【００１５】カメラ部１が直接ネットワーク２に結合さ
れるものは、従来どおりの動作でネットワーク２に結合
されるが、カメラ部１がコントロールボックス11を経由
してネットワーク２に結合されるものは、コントロール
ボックス11で外部条件が付加され、外部条件に応じて画
像データの転送量をコントロールするようにしている。
一例としては、アパーチャを制御することでもって画像
のデータ量を制御してネットワークのトラヒックの混雑
度に対処する。
【００１６】また、カメラ部１がコントロールボックス
11とアラーム画像サーバ12を経由してネットワーク２に
結合されるものは、アラーム画像サーバ12でカメラ部１
から転送された画像データを逐次保持しており、アラー
ムの発生をコントロールボックス11から入力されるとア
ラーム情報の同時性を確保する観点からアラーム情報を
表示部４に転送する。この際、ネットワーク２のトラヒ
ックが混雑していた場合には、通信の混雑具合を見なが
ら必要最低減の画像データを送るようにする。
【００１７】また、データとして音声と映像を同時に送
る場合には音声を映像に優先させて表示部に送るように
する。これは、音声が途切れるということが監視者にと
って気になるのを防ぐためである。
【００１８】なお、画像データをカメラ部１で消すタイ
ミングは、アラーム画像サーバ12に転送直後ではなく、
アラーム画像サーバ12で二次記憶し終わったことを通知
されることによって行なうことが望ましい。
【００１９】図３は、図１のカメラ部１の構成を示すブ
ロック図である。図３において、カメラ部は、カメラ制
御部25による絞り制御を受けるレンズ21と、ＣＣＤ素子
22と、ＡＧＣ23と、Ａ／Ｄ変換器24と、カメラ制御部25
と、電荷蓄積時間制御部26と、ビデオデジタルプロセス
部27と、ＪＰＥＧエンコーダ28と、動き検出部29と、ア
ラーム監視部30と、記憶部31と、サーバ32と、ＴＣＰ／
ＩＰ部33と、接点制御部34とから構成されている。そし
て、動き検出部29は、ビデオデジタルプロセス部27のプ
ロセスから動きが検出されるようにされ、アラーム監視
部30は、アラームの発生により接点制御部34の接点情
報、動き検出部29からの監視対象の動きからアラーム監
視すべき事態の発生を判断して記憶部31にデータを記憶
すると共に、記憶部31からサーバ32、ＴＣＰ／ＩＰ部33
を経てネットワークに伝送するようにしている。アラー
ム情報としては、カメラ映像信号、アラームログ情報、
アラーム発信情報が伝送される。
【００２０】また、図４は、図３のカメラ部でのＣＣＤ
電荷蓄積制御による出力データの生成の様子を示す図で
あり、通常は１フィールド毎に所定の映像出力レベルで
もってネットワークにデータ転送しているが、夜間にお
いては、フィールド間隔（図４の場合は、２フィールド
毎）を広くとって感度を上げ且つ映像出力レベルを通常
の場合に比べて２倍に上げネットワークにデータ転送す
るようにする。これにより、同じデータをネットワーク
に送出しないようにすることができる。最後にアドレス
管理について図２を用いて説明すると、マイク付きカメ
ラ部１では、映像と音声の両方のデータを収得すること
ができるので、カメラ部１のメモリ（記憶部）において
は、ネットワークドメイン形式を用いて映像と音声の記
録ファイルを作成しておき、それを別々に表示部４に転
送するようにする。そのためには、アドレス管理する管
理サーバ５を用意しておく必要がある。
【００２１】このようにアドレス管理を実施しておく
と、たとえＩＰアドレスが変わってもカメラ固有のＭＡ
Ｃアドレスとカメラ名だけを情報にしてカメラの表示切
り替えなどの選択を実施することができ、常に設置時に
設定した一定の組み合わせが保たれるので、好都合であ
る。また、設置時に使用するＩＰアドレスを示して（入
力）後に組み合わせが変わるＤＨＣＰによってアドレス
付与の関係が変化しても、同時に設定したカメラ名とＭ
ＡＣ（固有アドレス）との関連を記憶しておくことで、
ＩＰアドレスによって通信していることをユーザから隠
すことができるので、この点からも好都合である。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように本発明の請求項１に
記載の発明は、セキュリテイシステムを補完するための
ネットワークカメラ監視システムであって、動き検出手
段を持つ複数の回転台付き、又はマイク付きカメラ部
と、パソコン又は専用表示端末で構成される蓄積部と、
パソコン又は専用表示端末で構成される表示部と、アド
レス管理などのための管理サーバとをネットワークを介
して結合するようにして構成したことを特徴とするネッ
トワークカメラ監視システムとしたものであり、信頼性
のおけるネットワーク監視カメラシステムを提供するこ
とができるという効果を有する。
【００２３】また、本発明の請求項２に記載の発明は、
前記カメラ部は画像データを逐次記憶するためのメモリ
を有するとともに前記ネットワークのトラヒックを監視

り、またトラヒックが少ない場合には、画像情報の詳細
を前記表示部に送るようにしたことを特徴とする請求項
１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視システムとしたもの
であり、トラヒックを監視して画像データの転送量を可
変できるという効果又は音声を映像に優先させて表示部
に送ることができるという効果を有する。
【００２４】また、本発明の請求項３に記載の発明は、
前記動き検出手段による動き検出をトリガに、前記メモ
リに記憶しておいてデータを外部のセンサ入力で条件間
引きして転送することを特徴とする請求項１に記載のネ
ットワークカメラ監視システムとしたものであり、外部
のセンサ入力で条件間引きして転送することができると
いう効果を有する。
【００２５】また、本発明の請求項４に記載の発明は、
アラームの発生した内容が誤報と人間が判断してもデー
タ的には削除せず、マークを付けて検索対象から外し、
人為的、作為的のデータ消去を防ぐようにしたことを特
徴とする請求項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視シス
テムとしたものであり、アラームの発生した内容がもし
も誤報であっても人為的、作為的のデータ消去を防ぐよ
うにすることができるという効果を有する。
【００２６】また、本発明の請求項５に記載の発明は、
アラームの発生時には、時間、カメラごとの設置場所情
報、回転台付きカメラのポジション情報、アラーム発生
事由を収得し、それを前記メモリに記憶するとともに、
前記ネットワークを介して表示部に転送することを特徴
とする請求項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視システ
ムとしたものであり、従来よりも詳細なアラーム情報を
収得することができるという効果を有する。
【００２７】また、本発明の請求項６に記載の発明は、
前記カメラ部に、あらかじめ指定した一定以上の音声入
力があった場合、アラーム出力として出力する手段と、
その出力を行なうか否かを選択できる手段を有したこと
を特徴とする請求項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視
システムとしたものであり、一定以上の音声入力があっ
た場合にアラームを出力するか否かを選択して出力する
ことができるという効果を有する。
【００２８】また、本発明の請求項７に記載の発明は、
前記カメラ部のＣＣＤの電荷蓄積時間を制御することに
よって、夜間感度を上げる長時間蓄積モードに設定する
ネットワーク伝送部が管理し、映像出力レベルと前記Ｃ
ＣＤの電荷蓄積時間の制御に応じて、同じデータをネッ
トワークに送出しないことを特徴とする請求項１に記載
のネットワークカメラ監視システムとしたものであり、
ネットワークに送出するデータ量を減らすことができる
という効果を有する。

Claims (7)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 セキュリテイシステムを補完するための
    ネットワークカメラ監視システムであって、アラームの
    発生を検出する鍵となる動き検出手段を持つ複数の回転
    台付き、又はマイク付きカメラ部と、パソコン又は専用
    表示端末で構成される蓄積部と、パソコン又は専用表示
    端末で構成される表示部と、アドレス管理などのための
    管理サーバとをネットワークを介して結合するようにし
    て構成したことを特徴とするネットワークカメラ監視シ
    ステム。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記カメラ部は画像データを逐次記憶す
    るためのメモリを有するとともに前記ネットワークのト
    ラヒックを監視するトラヒック監視手段を有しており、
    該トラヒック監視手段は、トラヒックが多い場合には、
    緊急且つ必要な画像データのみを又はデータとして音声
    と映像を同時に送る場合には音声を映像に優先させて前
    記表示部に送り、またトラヒックが少ない場合には、画
    像情報の詳細を前記表示部に送るようにしたことを特徴
    とする請求項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視システ
    ム。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記動き検出手段による動き検出をトリ
    ガに、前記メモリに記憶しておいてデータを外部のセン
    サ入力で条件間引きして転送することを特徴とする請求
    項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視システム。
  4. 【請求項４】 アラームの発生した内容が誤報と人間が
    判断してもデータ的には削除せず、マークを付けて検索
    対象から外し、人為的、作為的のデータ消去を防ぐよう
    にしたことを特徴とする請求項１に記載のネットワーク
    カメラ監視システム。
  5. 【請求項５】 アラームの発生時には、時間、カメラご
    との設置場所情報、回転台付きカメラのポジション情
    報、アラーム発生事由を収得し、それを前記メモリに記
    憶するとともに、前記ネットワークを介して表示部に転
    送することを特徴とする請求項１に記載のネットワーク
    カメラ監視システム。
  6. 【請求項６】 前記カメラ部に、あらかじめ指定した一
    定以上の音声入力があった場合、アラーム出力として出
    力する手段と、その出力を行なうか否かを選択できる手
    段を有したことを特徴とする請求項１に記載のネットワ
    ークカメラ監視システム。
  7. 【請求項７】 前記カメラ部のＣＣＤの電荷蓄積時間を
    制御することによって、夜間感度を上げる長時間蓄積モ
    ードに設定するネットワーク伝送部が管理し、映像出力
    レベルと前記ＣＣＤの電荷蓄積時間の制御に応じて、同
    じデータをネットワークに送出しないことを特徴とする
    請求項１に記載のネットワークカメラ監視システム。
