Abstract

An office building construction (10) comprises a floor area (9) defined by front and rear (11, 12) and right side walls (14) and a left side area (13). The floor area includes a plurality of workstation groups (15, 15') located adjacent the front and rear walls. At least one of the workstation groups includes individual workstations (W) separated by a set of partition members (16) which further define a meeting area (17) associated with the respective workstation group.

Description

An Office Building Construction The present invention relates to an office building construction.
According to the present invention there is provided an office building construction comprising a floor area defined by front and rear and right side walls and a left side area, said floor area including a plurality of 10 workstation groups located adjacent the front and rear walls, at least one of said workstation groups including individual workstations separated by a set of partition members which further define a central meeting area associated with the respective workstation group.
An embodiment of the invention will now be described, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawing which is a plan view of an office building construction according to the invention.
Referring now to the drawing, there is shown an office building construction generally indicated at 10 according to the invention. The office building 10 comprises a floor area 9 defined by front and rear and 25 right side walls 11, 12 and 14 respectively and a left side area 13.
The floor area 9 includes a plurality of workstation groups 15, 15' located adjacent the front and rear walls 30 11 and 12 respectively. Workstation groups 15 comprise two or four individual workstations W separated by transverse partition members 16. Workstation groups 15' ο < < - 2 also include individual workstations W separated by a more complex set of partition members 20 which further t define a central meeting area 17 associated with a workstation group 15 ' .
Storage compartments 18 are further provided between respective workstation groups 15, 15' and the remainder of the floor area is occupied by offices 19 disposed adjacent the front wall 11.

Claims (2)

CLAIMS :
1. An office building construction comprising a floor area defined by front and rear and right side walls and 5 a left side area, said floor area including a plurality of workstation groups located adjacent the front and rear walls, at least one of said workstation groups including individual workstations separated by a set of partition members which further define a central meeting 10 area associated with the respective workstation group.
2. An office building construction substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to the accompanying drawing.
