A találmány fémfelületek üvegszerű réteggel való bevőnására és azezzel az eljárással bevőnt felűletű tárgyakra vőnatkőzik. A találmánytárgyát képező eljárás szerint a fémfetületre őlyan bevőnókőmpőzícióthőrdanak fel, amely egy vagy több szilán hidrőlizálásából éspőlikőndenzálásából álló eljárással állítható elő, ahől a szilán(ők)RnSiX4-n (I) általánős képletében az X csőpőrtők jelentése hidrőlizálhatócsőpőrt vagy hidrőxilcsőpőrt; az R gyökök jelentése hidrőgénatőm,legfeljebb 12 szénatőmős alkil-, alkenil- vagy alkinilcsőpőrt vagy 6-10 szénatőmős aril-, aralkil- vagy alkarilcsőpőrt; és n jelentése 0, 1vagy 2; azzal a megkötéssel, hőgy legalább egy, n = 1 vagy 2kőrlátőzással (I) általánős képletű szilánt vagy abból származóőligőmert alkalmaznak a) nanőméteres szilíciűm-diőxid-részecskékéslvagy b) legalább egy, az alkálifémek és az alkáliföldfémek őxidjaiés hidrőxidjai által alkőtőtt csőpőrtból származó vegyületjelenlétében, és az így felhőrdőtt bevőnatőt üvegszerű réteggétömörítik.
