Claims (12)

1. Postupak dobivanja i odabira sojeva kvasca koji mogu fermentirati arabinozu, glukozu i ksiloza u prisutnosti octene kiseline u nedisociranom obliku, naznačen time što se sastoji u: – kromosomskoj integraciji gena araA, araB i araD, po mogućnosti araA iz vrste B. licheniformis, te araB i araD iz bakterije E. coli, kod soja kvasca koji može fermentirati ksilozu u prisutnosti octene kiseline u nedisociranom obliku i ima najmanje jedan inaktivirani ili izbačeni gen GRE3; – stavljanju transformiranih sojeva u izravni uzgoj na mediju koji sadrži arabinozu kao jedini izvor ugljika radi odabira sojeva koji mogu metabolizirati navedenu arabinozu; – mogućem odabiru transformiranih sojeva koji su metabolizirali arabinoza na njihovu aktivnost reduktaze aldoze manju od ili jednaku 0,002 jedinica po gramu protein, ili čak manju od ili jednaku 0,0005 jedinica po gramu proteina.
2. Postupak u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1, naznačen time što se soj kvasca koji može fermentirati ksilozu u prisutnosti octene kiseline u nedisociranom obliku i ima najmanje jedan inaktivirani ili izbačeni gen GRE3 bira između rodova Saccharomices, Schizosaccharomices, Pichia, Yarrowia, Paffia, Kluyveromices, Candida, Talaromices, Brettanomices, Pachysolen, Hansenula, Kloeckera, Schwanniomices i Debaryomices, po mogućnosti soj vrste Saccharomices cerevisiae.
3. Postupak u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 2, naznačen time što je soj kvasca koji može fermentirati ksilozu u prisutnosti octene kiseline u nedisociranom obliku i ima najmanje jedan inaktivirani ili izbačeni gen GRE3 soj registriran kod CNCM 29. siječnja 2015. pod brojem 1-4953.
4. Soj kvasca dobiven postupkom u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 3, naznačen time što dodatno pokazuje aktivnost reduktaze aldoze manju od ili jednaku 0,002 jedinica po gramu proteina, ili čak manju od ili jednaku 0,0005 jedinica po gramu proteina, te je soj 1-5085, registriran kod CNCM (Collection Nationale de Cultures de Microorganismes, Institut Pasteur, 25 rue du Docteur Roux, 75724 Paris Cedex 15) 19. svibnja 2016.
5. Postupak dobivanja i odabira soja kvasca s poboljšanom sposobnosti fermentiranja arabinoze, glukoze i ksiloze u prisutnosti octene kiseline u nedisociranom obliku, gdje soj kvasca može fermentirati arabinozu, glukozu i ksiloza u prisutnosti octene kiseline u nedisociranom obliku i dobiva se postupkom u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 3, naznačen time što se po mogućnosti soj u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 4 uzastopno uzgaja u sljedećim uvjetima: – anaerobnog ili hipoksičnog uzgoja na mediju koji kao jedine izvore ugljika sadrži arabinozu i ksilozu u ograničavajućim koncentracijama radi proizvodnje biomase, po mogućnosti u količini od 5 g/l odnosno 4 g/l; zatim – dvije uzastopne anaerobne ili hipoksične kulture u prisutnosti octene kiseline u nedisociranom obliku, jednu na mediju koji sadrži glukozu kao jedini izvor ugljika, a drugu na mediju koji sadrži ksilozu kao jedini izvor ugljika; – mogućeg aerobnog uzgoja u minimalnom mediju koji kao jedini izvor ugljika sadrži izvor strogo respiratornog ugljika, po mogućnosti glicerol.
6. Postupak u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 5, naznačen time što se uzastopni uzgoj soja u različitim medijima ponavlja najmanje 2 puta.
7. Soj kvasca kojeg se može dobiti postupkom u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 5 do 6, naznačen time što je soj 1-5086, registriran kod CNCM (Collection Nationale de Cultures de Microorganismes, Institut Pasteur, 25 rue du Docteur Roux, 75724 Paris Cedex 15) 19. svibnja 2016.
8. Soj kvasca u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnim zahtjevom 4 ili 7, naznačen time što ima najmanje jednu dodatnu kopiju gena HAA1, ubačenu po mogućnosti na razini gena GRE3.
9. Upotreba soja u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 4, 7 i 8 naznačen time što je namijenjen fermentaciji materijala, koji po mogućnosti sadrži arabinozu i/ili ksilozu, i/ili proizvodnji etanola.
10. Postupak proizvodnje produkata fermentacije ili etanola, naznačen time što se sastoji u sljedećim koracima: – inkubacije materijala ili medija koji sadrži arabinozu i/ili ksilozu sa sojem u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 4, 7 i 8; – fermentacije u anaerobnim ili poluanaerobnim uvjetima; – prikupljanje jednog ili više produkata fermentacije, ili etanola.
11. Postupak proizvodnje produkata fermentacije ili etanola u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 12, naznačen time što materijal ili medij također sadrži glukozu.
12. Postupak proizvodnje produkata fermentacije ili etanola u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 10 ili 11, naznačen time što je materijal ili medij hemiceluloza ili "kukuruzna vlakna".
