Abstract

924,336. Gas-blast switches. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA A.B. Sept. 6, 1961 [Sept. 7, 1960], No. 31973/61. Class 38 (5). Air flowing from a conducting main aircontainer 10 to an interrupting chamber 12 or 13 during a circuit-opening operation passes an auxiliary contact gap 16, 18 before exhausting through a main contact gap in the manner described in Specification 890,535. The drawings show two interrupter chambers 12, 13 with respective resistances 14, 15 in the container 10 and the contact 16 carried on the end of each resistor extends into an inlet passage 17 between the container and chamber.
