Abstract

913,280. Gas burners. JUNKERS & CO. G.m.b.H. April 26, 1961 [April 27, 1960], No. 15009/61. Class 75 (1). A gas burner for use with different types of gas, for example town gas or liquefied gas, comprises two ducts 14, 19 branching from a supply passage 12 fed by a duct 11, the duct 14 containing a nozzle 23 having a small orifice and the duct 19 containing a nozzle 24 having a large orifice. Both nozzles are directed into a conical space 26 provided with an air inlet 27 and disposed at the lower end of a mixing chamber 25 within a detachable burner stem 13. The gas supply through the duct 19 is controlled by a valve 17 adjustably screwed into the burner housing. The burner may be used as an ignition burner heating a bimetallic member.
