Class 64(1) An air and water heating apparatus utilizing liquid or gaseous fuel comprises a heat-insulating cabinet g, a heating unit a, a water tank e, an air fan f and vertical partitions h, i arranged to form an up-flow air passage at one side of the unit a and a down-flow air passage between the unit and the tank. The unit a is of hollow cylindrical form and includes a combustion chamber b. with one or more burners c, the products of combustion passing into a flue d. Cold air is supplied to the fan by a duct k while air leaving the down-flow passage passes beneath the tank e to an outlet j for discharge to a room or for conveyance by a duct to another region. The tank e is cylindrical and the cabinet g rectangular.
