Abstract

781,179 Burners; incandescent gas fires. OATLEY, A. F. May 16, 1955 [May 18, 1954], No 14519/54. Classes 75(1) and 126 [Also in Group XIII] The burner tube 11 of a bas fire in which convection air is heated (see Group XIII) rests near its ends on lugs (not shown) projecting forwardly from the back plate 17. A lug 33 on the burner tube projects downwardly through a hole in, and has shoulders resting on, a central lug 31 also projecting from the plate 17. A screw 35 adjusts the position of the burner tube. A skeleton tray 36 supporting the radiants 15 is carried by the burner tube. The arrangement enables the radiants to make close contact with the wall 17. Specification 704,865 is referred to.
