356,494. Submersible liquid heaters. LINGNER, G., 5A, Friedhofstrasse, Dessau, Anhalt, Germany. Sept. 17, 1930, No. 27814. [Class 64 (i).] In a submersible liquid heater comprising a metal container 1 with a gasburner 5 at its lower part and a lateral air supply conduit 2 spaced from the container, the latter is provided with a number of vertical partitions 3 through which and the sides of the container pass open-ended tubes 4. The conduit 2 is divided by a partition 7 into two parts, the part adjacent the container supplying air to the outer part of the burner. Inside the other part the gas pipe is provided with an air inlet 8.
