Class 122(5) A journal bearing is formed with a threaded recess 26 at one end and sealed by resilient packing rings 14, 16 housed in the recess and respectively compresed by retaining rings 13, 15 screwed into the recess. The end of the recess is closed by an apertured plate 12. Specifications 685,111 and 707.340 are referred to.
