Abstract

A flux-coated, aluminium or aluminium alloy welding electrode comprises a core having a first coating of copper and an outer coating of flux comprising by weight, potassium chloride 25 to 50 parts, sodium chloride 25 to 55 parts, lithium chloride 5 to 20 parts, cryolite 5 to 18 parts, applied in paste form.
