[Class 20 (iii)] A window movable about a vertical or other pivot axis, and especially a motor vehicle side window, is actuated by a short rotatable screw f mounted on the window frame at right angles to the plane of the window, a nut g sliding on the screw, and being attached to the window at a point adjacent to the pivot by links h, i. If the link h is rigidly attached to the nut, its other end is pivotally attached to the link i which is secured to the lower edge of the panel b by a pivot pin' The screw f is turned by an internally toothed hollow wheel k which engages a pinion m on the outer end of the screw and which has its periphery knurled for easy manual rotation.
