439,751. Stays. ACCLES & POLLOCK, Ltd., and HENDERSON, L. B., Paddock Works, Oldbury, Birmingham. Aug. 11, 1934, No. 23263. [Class 65 (i)] [See also Group X] Operating means for doors and like hinged members comprises a lever f pivoted at e to an attachment a on the frame, and operatively connected to the hinged member, which is shown as a vehicle window, the lever f being actuated by a finger lever i pivoted thereon and provided with an eccentric pin k engaging a slot in the attachment a. The pivot of the lever i consists of a circular boss h in an aperture in the lever f and the pin k is provided with a nut and spring washer. The pin and slot are so disposed that the window &c. is retained in open and closed positions and the window may be held in intermediate positions by a spring-pressed ball o on the boss h and recesses r in the lever or by a friction washer on the pin k. The movement of the finger lever is limited by a .projection s thereon and stops t, u on the lever f.
